{"id":24253,"date":"2021-08-24T11:48:51","date_gmt":"2021-08-24T17:48:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=24253"},"modified":"2021-08-24T11:48:51","modified_gmt":"2021-08-24T17:48:51","slug":"suecia-revela-el-acero-verde-no-requiere-carbon-y-promete-revolucionar-la-industria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/materiales\/suecia-revela-el-acero-verde-no-requiere-carbon-y-promete-revolucionar-la-industria\/","title":{"rendered":"Suecia revela el \u2018acero verde\u2019: no requiere carb\u00f3n y promete revolucionar la industria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La compa\u00f1\u00eda acerera sueca llamada\u00a0<strong>SSAB acaba de revelar su nuevo compuesto de acero fabricado bajo la tecnolog\u00eda HYBRIT\u00a0<\/strong>(<em>Hydrogen Breakthrough Ironmaking Technology<\/em>), considerado el\u00a0<strong>primer \u201cacero verde\u201d del mundo, producido sin utilizar carb\u00f3n.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El flamante acero verde ser\u00e1 utilizado por el fabricante de camiones\u00a0<strong>Volvo AB previo al inicio de su producci\u00f3n comercial en 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"_114528\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vale decir que la tecnolog\u00eda HYBRIT, propiedad de SSAB (correspondiente a capitales n\u00f3rdicos y de los Estados Unidos), la empresa estatal sueca Vattenfall y la minera LKAB, alcanzar\u00e1 al fabricante automotriz,\u00a0<strong>primero como prueba, y luego para su producci\u00f3n comercial completa.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La empresa mixta que ahora fabrica el acero verde HYBRIT\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssab.com\/fossil-free-steel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dio a conocer<\/a>la semana pasada que ha realizado la\u00a0<strong>primera entrega a clientes del mundo<\/strong>\u00a0en China, con lo que busca revolucionar una industria que representa alrededor del 8% de las emisiones globales de gases de efecto invernadero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u201cEstoy feliz de ser ministro de Empresa y Energ\u00eda en un pa\u00eds donde la industria est\u00e1 rebosante de energ\u00eda para un reinicio (verde)<\/strong>\u201c, dijo Ibrahim Baylan, ministro de Negocios, Industria e Innovaci\u00f3n, de Suecia en una conferencia de prensa realizada a mediados se la semana pr\u00f3xima pasada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En este sentido, SSAB\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssab.com\/news\/2021\/08\/the-worlds-first-fossilfree-steel-ready-for-delivery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">comenz\u00f3 a fabricar el acero<\/a>\u00a0HYBRIT en su planta piloto de acero verde libre de f\u00f3siles en Lulea, en el norte de Suecia, en 2016.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-864612 lazyloading\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.forbes.com.mx\/2021\/08\/acero-verde-1024x844.png\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.forbes.com.mx\/2021\/08\/acero-verde-1024x844.png 1024w, https:\/\/cdn.forbes.com.mx\/2021\/08\/acero-verde-300x247.png 300w, https:\/\/cdn.forbes.com.mx\/2021\/08\/acero-verde-768x633.png 768w, https:\/\/cdn.forbes.com.mx\/2021\/08\/acero-verde.png 1066w\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"844\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.forbes.com.mx\/2021\/08\/acero-verde-1024x844.png 1024w, https:\/\/cdn.forbes.com.mx\/2021\/08\/acero-verde-300x247.png 300w, https:\/\/cdn.forbes.com.mx\/2021\/08\/acero-verde-768x633.png 768w, https:\/\/cdn.forbes.com.mx\/2021\/08\/acero-verde.png 1066w\" data-src=\"https:\/\/cdn.forbes.com.mx\/2021\/08\/acero-verde-1024x844.png\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>Autoridades suecas y de SSAB, saludando al momento de la entrega del primer pedido comercial de acero verde. Foto SSAB.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 id=\"h-el-acero-verde-promete-una-revoluci-n-en-las-industrias\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">El acero verde promete una revoluci\u00f3n en las industrias<\/h2>\n<p class=\"_114528\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">La firma dio a conocer que que\u00a0<strong>la prueba con Volvo es un \u201cpaso importante<\/strong> hacia una cadena de valor completamente libre de f\u00f3siles, cuyo objetivo es entregar acero libre de f\u00f3siles al mercado y demostrar la tecnolog\u00eda a escala industrial ya en 2026\u2033.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si bien la tecnolog\u00eda de acero verde HYBRIT tiene una gran oportunidad con Volvo,\u00a0<strong>enfrenta la competencia de H2 Green Steel,\u00a0<\/strong>otra empresa ecol\u00f3gica que planea construir una planta de acero sin combustibles f\u00f3siles en Suecia, con una producci\u00f3n programada para comenzar a partir de 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte, SSAB explic\u00f3 que con la tecnolog\u00eda del acero verde HYBRIT\u00a0<strong>espera alg\u00fan d\u00eda reemplazar el carb\u00f3n coquizable<\/strong>, normalmente utilizado en el acero a base de minerales, por electricidad e hidr\u00f3geno renovables.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SSAB, que representa el 10% de las emisiones de di\u00f3xido de carbono de Suecia y el 7% de Finlandia, dijo que la entrega de la prueba del nuevo acero verde fue un \u201cpaso importante para un futuro menos contaminante\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A continuaci\u00f3n, una pieza del futuro:<\/strong>\u00a0el primer objeto realizado en acero verde libre de f\u00f3siles del mundo, dise\u00f1ado por Lena Bergstr\u00f6m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_114528\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">La artista dijo sobre la obra que\u00a0<strong>\u201cel candelabro, con sus rayos suavemente plisados que salen de la vela, simboliza la luz al final del t\u00fanel.\u00a0<\/strong>Es un s\u00edmbolo de esperanza.
