forma de l\u00e1minas finas y flexibles no s\u00f3lo podr\u00edan abrir nuevas posibilidades en la generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda renovable, sino tambi\u00e9n reducir los costes de fabricaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Un equipo de cient\u00edficos de Suiza ha estado trabajando para elevar la eficiencia de esta tecnolog\u00eda a los niveles que ofrecen las c\u00e9lulas solares r\u00edgidas, y ha dado un paso m\u00e1s hacia este objetivo al establecer un nuevo r\u00e9cord del 21,4%.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La investigaci\u00f3n se llev\u00f3 a cabo en los Laboratorios Federales Suizos de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda de los Materiales (Empa), donde los cient\u00edficos llevan a\u00f1os avanzando en las c\u00e9lulas solares flexibles conocidas como CIGS, hechas de cobre, indio, galio y selenio. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Se trata de un pu\u00f1ado de c\u00e9lulas solares de capa fina que se est\u00e1n desarrollando de forma generalizada pensando en aplicaciones flexibles, y el equipo del Empa lleva m\u00e1s de dos d\u00e9cadas a la vanguardia de este campo.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Mientras que las c\u00e9lulas solares no flexibles de mejor rendimiento, fabricadas con silicio cristalino, pueden convertir la luz en electricidad con una eficiencia de hasta el 26,7%, las c\u00e9lulas solares flexibles de CIGS a\u00fan no han alcanzado ese nivel. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El equipo de Empa estableci\u00f3 una eficiencia r\u00e9cord del 12,8% en 1999, del 14,1% en 2005, del 17,6% en 2010, del 18,7% en 2011, del 20,4% en 2013 y del 20 , 8% en 2019.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Como vemos, ha sido un largo camino, pero el equipo se ha acercado un poco m\u00e1s a su final con otro avance. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Para fabricar sus c\u00e9lulas, los cient\u00edficos usan una t\u00e9cnica llamada coevaporaci\u00f3n a baja temperatura para hacer crecer una pel\u00edcula semiconductora sobre una fina capa de pol\u00edmero. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Modificando la composici\u00f3n de la pel\u00edcula y los dopantes alcalinos utilizados para dotarla de propiedades el\u00e9ctricas, el equipo pudo aumentar su rendimiento fotovoltaico.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La eficacia de la\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/celulas-solares-fotovoltaicas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">c\u00e9lula solar<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , del 21,38%, se mantuvo estable durante varios meses y fue verificada por cient\u00edficos del Instituto Fraunhofer de Sistemas de Energ\u00eda Solar de Alemania. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Aunque este trabajo supone otro r\u00e9cord para los cient\u00edficos del Empa y las c\u00e9lulas CIGS, hemos visto c\u00f3mo otros tipos de c\u00e9lulas flexibles alcanzaban eficiencias a\u00fan mayores, al combinarse con otros materiales fotoactivos como la perovskita. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El a\u00f1o pasado, vimos que una de estas c\u00e9lulas denominadas\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/record-eficiencia-celulas-solares-tandem\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">t\u00e1ndem<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , que tambi\u00e9n pod\u00eda colocarse sobre una l\u00e1mina flexible, alcanzaba una eficiencia del 24,16%.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Al trabajar en la b\u00fasqueda de aplicaciones comerciales para las\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/paneles-solares-flexibles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">c\u00e9lulas solares flexibles<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , los cient\u00edficos imaginan su uso en tejados y fachadas de edificios, electr\u00f3nica m\u00f3vil, aviones y veh\u00edculos terrestres. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Adem\u00e1s de ser m\u00e1s ligeras y adherirse a superficies curvas o complejas, estas c\u00e9lulas se prestan a una fabricaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s barata en rollo, lo que podr\u00eda ayudar a reducir los costes de las energ\u00edas renovables en general.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align:
