{"id":2480,"date":"2016-05-26T10:53:02","date_gmt":"2016-05-26T16:53:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=2480"},"modified":"2016-05-26T10:53:02","modified_gmt":"2016-05-26T16:53:02","slug":"velocidad-datos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/tech\/velocidad-datos\/","title":{"rendered":"Pulverizan el r\u00e9cord de velocidad en la transmisi\u00f3n inal\u00e1mbrica de datos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El nuevo r\u00e9cord mundial de transmisi\u00f3n de datos por radiofrecuencia equivale a enviar el contenido de un DVD a 37 kil\u00f3metros de distancia en menos de diez segundos.<!--more--> Con una velocidad de 6 Gbps, el enlace inal\u00e1mbrico conseguido por un equipo de ingenieros alemanes supera en un factor de 10 al anterior r\u00e9cord.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Para lograr una tasa de bits tan alta, los investigadores de la Universidad de Stuttgart y el instituto Fraunhofer IAF emitieron las se\u00f1ales de radio en la banda de frecuencias 71-76 GHz \u2014conocida como banda E y utilizada para la radiodifusi\u00f3n terrestre y por sat\u00e9lite. S\u00f3lo con las longitudes de onda milim\u00e9tricas que ofrece esta parte del espectro se puede disponer del enorme ancho de banda que requiere una velocidad as\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>La comunicaci\u00f3n se estableci\u00f3 entre una torre de 45 pisos del centro de Colonia y el radar de observaci\u00f3n espacial de Wachtberg \u2014un tramo de 36,7 kil\u00f3metros. El problema de enviar tantos datos a una distancia tan grande es el debilitamiento de la se\u00f1al por el ruido. Para subsanar el problema, el equipo construy\u00f3 un sistema de transmisores y receptores ultra-eficientes basados en dos novedosas tecnolog\u00edas de transistores desarrolladas por Fraunhofer IAF.<\/p>\n<p>La se\u00f1al se emiti\u00f3 con una antena parab\u00f3lica muy directiva. Los transmisores consegu\u00edan amplificar la se\u00f1al a una potencia de hasta 1 W mediante una tecnolog\u00eda de microchips basada en semiconductores de galio-nitruro. Los receptores se sirvieron de unos amplificadores de bajo ruido fabricados con transistores de indio-galio-arseniuro de gran velocidad. Combinadas, sendas tecnolog\u00edas aseguran la detecci\u00f3n de se\u00f1ales d\u00e9biles a gran distancia.<\/p>\n<p>La velocidad resultante de 6 Gbps podr\u00eda servir para suministrar hasta 250 conexiones de 24 Mbps en lugares donde es imposible llegar con cables. Los investigadores creen que el invento podr\u00eda ser un \u201creemplazo rentable para el despliegue de fibra
