Originalmente, el equipo us\u00f3 esto para\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/newatlas.com\/materials\/high-value-flash-graphene-cheap-trash\/?itm_source=newatlas&amp;itm_medium=article-body\" data-cms-ai=\"0\">crear grafeno a<\/a>\u00a0partir de productos de dice que este proceso puede recuperar m\u00e1s del 60 por ciento del oro en una muestra y m\u00e1s del 80 por ciento de plata, paladio y rodio.\u00a0Tambi\u00e9n elimina metales pesados \u200b\u200bt\u00f3xicos como cromo, ars\u00e9nico, cadmio, mercurio y plomo, que pueden filtrarse al medio ambiente a partir de los desechos electr\u00f3nicos en los vertederos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Es importante destacar que los investigadores dicen que el proceso es energ\u00e9ticamente eficiente y escalable.\u00a0Consume alrededor de 939 kWh por tonelada de material procesado, que es un 80\u00ba de la cantidad consumida por la fundici\u00f3n comercial y un 500\u00ba de la de los hornos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cAqu\u00ed, la mayor fuente creciente de desechos se convierte en un tesoro\u201d, dice James Tour, investigador principal del estudio.\u00a0\u201cEsto reducir\u00e1 la necesidad de viajar por todo el mundo para extraer minerales en lugares remotos y peligrosos, despojar la superficie de la Tierra y utilizar gran cantidad de recursos
