{"id":2527,"date":"2016-06-02T09:53:53","date_gmt":"2016-06-02T15:53:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=2527"},"modified":"2016-06-02T09:54:05","modified_gmt":"2016-06-02T15:54:05","slug":"lentes-diabetes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ciencia\/lentes-diabetes\/","title":{"rendered":"Innovadores lentes de contacto que controlan la diabetes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Un grupo de investigadores de la Universidad coreana de Ciencias y Tecnolog\u00eda de Pohangha ha desarrollado un sistema de medici\u00f3n de la glucosa en sangre y control de la diabetes mediante un juego de lentilla y mon\u00f3culo.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El mon\u00f3culo -tipo Google Glass- se encuentra conectado de forma inal\u00e1mbrica con la lente, hecha de silicona, que contiene un circuito, con un sensor para medir la glucosa, un chip y un dispensador de f\u00e1rmaco.<\/p>\n<p>Este sistema permite mantener una monitorizaci\u00f3n constante del nivel de glucosa a trav\u00e9s de las l\u00e1grimas y, si detecta niveles elevados, provee de una terapia en caso de afecciones en el ojo causadas por la diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de llevar un control constante, el usuario puede usar los comandos de voz para que la lente, a trav\u00e9s de la se\u00f1al enviada por el mon\u00f3culo, libere una dosis del f\u00e1rmaco. La lente puede llevarse puesta hasta un mes, como ha informado Spectrum.<\/p>\n<p>Este sistema no es el \u00fanico destinado al control de la diabetes mediante lentes de contacto. Google trabaja en un proyecto similar, dado que tambi\u00e9n utiliza lentes de contacto para medir el nivel de glucosa a trav\u00e9s de la l\u00e1grima, que mediante unas luces LED, indica si est\u00e1n altos o bajos.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/fotonoticia_20160531120329-916229_9999-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
