Puede atravesar la niebla, la piel y hasta partes del cuerpo humano, como el cr\u00e1neo. Llamado holograf\u00eda de longitud de onda sint\u00e9tica, el nuevo m\u00e9todo funciona mediante la dispersi\u00f3n indirecta de luz sobre objetos ocultos, que luego se dispersa nuevamente y viaja de regreso a una c\u00e1mara.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Posteriormente, entra en acci\u00f3n un\u00a0<strong>algoritmo<\/strong>\u00a0que est\u00e1 destinado a reconstruir las se\u00f1ales de luz dispersa, logrando de esta forma revelar los objetos que se encuentran ocultos. En otras palabras, el sistema puede \u00abextraer\u00bb la informaci\u00f3n lum\u00ednica no visible en una primera instancia y volverla visible, gracias a la integraci\u00f3n entre la tecnolog\u00eda hologr\u00e1fica y la Inteligencia Artificial.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La\u00a0<strong>holograf\u00eda<\/strong>\u00a0o visi\u00f3n gr\u00e1fica es b\u00e1sicamente una forma avanzada de fotograf\u00eda, que busca crear im\u00e1genes tridimensionales a partir del empleo y utilizaci\u00f3n de la luz. Para poder obtener las im\u00e1genes se utiliza un rayo l\u00e1ser, destinado a registrar a un nivel microsc\u00f3pico una pel\u00edcula fotosensible, o sea sensible a la luz.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Aplicaciones sin l\u00edmites<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Seg\u00fan una\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mccormick.northwestern.edu\/news\/articles\/2021\/11\/new-holographic-camera-sees-the-unseen-with-high-precision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">nota de prensa<\/a>, las aplicaciones de la nueva t\u00e9cnica no tienen l\u00edmites: al poseer una elevada resoluci\u00f3n temporal, puede obtener\u00a0<strong>im\u00e1genes de sucesos que acontecen a toda velocidad<\/strong>, pr\u00e1cticamente en tiempo real. Apreciar un coraz\u00f3n mientras late al atravesar el pecho de una persona, o poder ver c\u00f3mo los veh\u00edculos se trasladan a m\u00e1xima velocidad en la esquina de una calle son solo algunos ejemplos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">El nuevo estudio ha sido publicado recientemente la revista Nature Communications. La innovaci\u00f3n se enmarca en un campo de investigaci\u00f3n relativamente nuevo, que se centra en la identificaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes ocultas detr\u00e1s de oclusiones o medios de dispersi\u00f3n: el \u00e1rea de trabajo se denomina\u00a0<strong>im\u00e1genes sin l\u00ednea de visi\u00f3n (NLoS)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sin embargo, el m\u00e9todo creado por los investigadores estadounidenses puede capturar r\u00e1pidamente im\u00e1genes de campo completo de grandes \u00e1reas, con una\u00a0<strong>precisi\u00f3n submilim\u00e9trica<\/strong>. Otros enfoques relacionados con las tecnolog\u00edas NLoS no han logrado alcanzar este tipo de funcionalidades.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gracias a este nivel de resoluci\u00f3n, la c\u00e1mara incorporada a un equipamiento inform\u00e1tico podr\u00eda potencialmente obtener im\u00e1genes a trav\u00e9s de la piel de una persona, logrando incluso ver los capilares m\u00e1s diminutos en funcionamiento. De esta manera, la nueva tecnolog\u00eda contar\u00eda con un interesante potencial de aplicaci\u00f3n en el\u00a0<strong>\u00e1rea m\u00e9dica y biol\u00f3gica<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Seguridad industria y hasta investigaci\u00f3n espacial<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Los creadores del sistema han resaltado que adem\u00e1s posee todo lo necesario para incorporarse en mecanismos de navegaci\u00f3n de alerta temprana para veh\u00edculos, como as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n en tareas de\u00a0<strong>seguridad industrial<\/strong>\u00a0que se llevan a cabo en espacios reducidos y de dif\u00edcil acceso.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Como el nuevo m\u00e9todo es capaz de capturar\u00a0<strong>todo el campo de luz de un objeto en un\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/tendencias21.levante-emv.com\/crean-hologramas-reales-que-se-mueven-en-el-aire.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">holograma<\/a><\/strong>, entonces puede reconstruir la forma tridimensional del mismo en su totalidad, sin que se interpongan los efectos de dispersi\u00f3n de la luz producidos en determinados contextos, como por ejemplo con la niebla. Otro detalle que mejora la funcionalidad es que la imagen hologr\u00e1fica se obtiene mediante ondas sint\u00e9ticas, en lugar de ondas de luz normales<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pero los investigadores van un paso m\u00e1s all\u00e1: sostienen que la tecnolog\u00eda marcar\u00e1 el comienzo de una nueva era en este campo, ampliando considerablemente las capacidades de los instrumentos y de las im\u00e1genes obtenidas. Mientras los prototipos desarrollados utilizan luz visible o infrarroja, en el futuro podr\u00edan\u00a0<strong>ampliarse a otras longitudes de onda<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Como el principio sobre el cual trabaja el sistema es universal, podr\u00eda adaptarse por ejemplo a las ondas de radio, utiliz\u00e1ndose en la\u00a0<strong>exploraci\u00f3n e investigaci\u00f3n espacial<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, la obtenci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes ac\u00fasticas bajo el agua ser\u00eda otra posible aplicaci\u00f3n.
