almacenar energ\u00eda solar durante meses o a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">A medida que dejamos de usar los combustibles f\u00f3siles y nos pasamos a las energ\u00edas renovables para hacer frente al cambio clim\u00e1tico, la necesidad de nuevas formas de captar y almacenar energ\u00eda se hace cada vez m\u00e1s importante.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Investigadores de la Universidad de Lancaster han descubierto un material cristalino que tiene propiedades que permiten capturar la energ\u00eda del sol.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La energ\u00eda se puede almacenar durante varios meses a temperatura ambiente<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , y se puede liberar una demanda en forma de calor.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Este tipo de materiales tiene un potencial interesante como forma de capturar la energ\u00eda solar durante los meses de verano, y almacenarla para su uso en invierno, donde hay menos energ\u00eda solar disponible.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El material se basa en un tipo de \u00abmarco org\u00e1nico-met\u00e1lico\u00bb (MOF). <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Estos consisten en una red de iones met\u00e1licos unidos por mol\u00e9culas basadas en el carbono para formar estructuras tridimensionales. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Una propiedad clave de los MOF es que son porosos, lo que significa que pueden formar materiales compuestos al albergar otras peque\u00f1as mol\u00e9culas dentro de sus estructuras.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El equipo de investigaci\u00f3n de Lancaster se propuso descubrir si un compuesto de MOF, previamente preparado por un equipo de investigaci\u00f3n en la Universidad de Kyoto y conocido como \u00abDMOF1\u00bb, se puede usar para almacenar energ\u00eda &#8211; algo que no se hab\u00eda investigado previamente.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Los poros del MOF estaban cargados con mol\u00e9culas de azobenceno, un compuesto que absorbe la luz. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Estas mol\u00e9culas se pueden cambiar de forma cuando se aplica un est\u00edmulo externo, como la luz o el calor.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">En las pruebas, los investigadores expusieron el material a la luz UV, este proceso almacena la energ\u00eda en los poros del MOF atrapando las mol\u00e9culas de azobenceno, lo que significa que la energ\u00eda potencial puede almacenarse durante largos per\u00edodos de tiempo a temperatura ambiente.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La energ\u00eda se libera de nuevo cuando el calor externo se aplica como un disparador para \u00abcambiar\u00bb su estado, y esta liberaci\u00f3n puede ser muy r\u00e1pida, un poco como un resorte que vuelve a su estado normal. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Esto proporciona un impulso de calor que podr\u00eda usarse para calentar otros materiales de los dispositivos.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Pruebas posteriores demostraron que\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">el material era capaz de almacenar la energ\u00eda durante al menos cuatro meses<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> . <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La larga duraci\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda almacenada abre posibilidades para el almacenamiento transestacional.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El material funciona un poco como los materiales de cambio de fase, que se usan para suministrar calor en calentadores de manos. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Sin embargo, mientras que los calentadores de manos necesitan ser calentados para poder recargarlos, lo bueno de este material es que captura energ\u00eda directamente del sol. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Tampoco tiene partes m\u00f3viles o electr\u00f3nicas, por lo que no hay p\u00e9rdidas en el almacenamiento y la liberaci\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda solar. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Esperamos que con un mayor desarrollo seamos capaces de hacer otros materiales que almacenen a\u00fan m\u00e1s energ\u00eda.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><cite><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Dr. John Griffin, profesor de Qu\u00edmica de Materiales Universidad de Lancaster.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Otras aplicaciones potenciales para los materiales cristalinos que contienen mol\u00e9culas de fotoconmutadores incluyen el almacenamiento de datos: la disposici\u00f3n bien definida de los fotoconmutadores en la estructura cristalina significa que en principio pueden ser cambiados uno a uno usando una fuente de luz precisa y por lo tanto almacenar datos como en un CD o DVD, pero a nivel molecular. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Tambi\u00e9n tienen potencial para la style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Aunque los resultados fueron prometedores en cuanto a la capacidad de este material para almacenar energ\u00eda durante largos per\u00edodos de tiempo, su densidad energ\u00e9tica fue modesta. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Los pr\u00f3ximos pasos son investigar otras estructuras MOF as\u00ed como tipos alternativos de materiales cristalinos con mayor potencial de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p
