{"id":25995,"date":"2022-01-24T10:05:42","date_gmt":"2022-01-24T16:05:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=25995"},"modified":"2022-01-24T10:05:42","modified_gmt":"2022-01-24T16:05:42","slug":"la-inteligencia-artificial-aprende-a-predecir-el-flujo-solar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ia\/la-inteligencia-artificial-aprende-a-predecir-el-flujo-solar\/","title":{"rendered":"La inteligencia artificial aprende a predecir el flujo solar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">En un trabajo publicado en la revista\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.actaastro.2021.08.004\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Acta Astronautica<\/a>, investigadores del Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda de Sistemas Inform\u00e1ticos de la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid (<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.upm.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UPM<\/a>), en colaboraci\u00f3n con la\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.strath.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Universidad de Strathclyde<\/a>\u00a0(Reino Unido), han desarrollado una nueva metodolog\u00eda que utiliza el aprendizaje profundo para pronosticar el flujo de radiaci\u00f3n solar \ua7f7en concreto, el \u00edndice F10.7\ua7f7 en un horizonte temporal de d\u00edas, lo que resulta muy relevante a la hora de dise\u00f1ar y planificar operaciones espaciales.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.madrimasd.org\/uploads\/noticia2%2024%2001%202022.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fuente: pixabay:\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/pixabay.com\/es\/photos\/erupci%c3%b3n-solar-flare-explosi%c3%b3n-67532\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/pixabay.com\/es\/photos\/erupci%c3%b3n-solar-flare-explosi%c3%b3n-67532\/<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">El \u00edndice F10.7 es una medida de la intensidad de las emisiones de radiaci\u00f3n solar ultravioleta con una longitud de onda de 10,7 cm y se utiliza como un indicador de la actividad solar, siendo uno de los principales responsables de los cambios de la densidad atmosf\u00e9rica, y por lo tanto, del arrastre atmosf\u00e9rico. Dado que el arrastre atmosf\u00e9rico es una de las fuentes de incertidumbre m\u00e1s destacadas en la predicci\u00f3n de la \u00f3rbita de los sat\u00e9lites en la \u00f3rbita terrestre baja (<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%93rbita_terrestre_baja\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LEO<\/a>, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), la modelizaci\u00f3n precisa de este \u00edndice es de gran importancia para ayudar a predecir las posiciones de los sat\u00e9lites y la basura espacial, as\u00ed como para asegurar que no se produzcan colisiones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La metodolog\u00eda seguida por el grupo de investigaci\u00f3n de la UPM para el desarrollo de este modelo se basa en el uso de m\u00e9todos de aprendizaje profundo,\u00a0<em>deep learning<\/em>, m\u00e1s concretamente, en un nuevo enfoque basado en\u00a0<em>Redes Residuales Profundas.<\/em>\u00a0Este m\u00e9todo, basado en la arquitectura de redes neuronales N-BEATS, ha resultado ser eficaz en la predicci\u00f3n de valores puntuales hasta 27 d\u00edas en el futuro, as\u00ed como en la estimaci\u00f3n de la incertidumbre en la predicci\u00f3n utilizando un conjunto (o\u00a0<em>ensemble<\/em>) de modelos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.madrimasd.org\/uploads\/noticia2a%2024%2001%202022.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ejemplo de previsi\u00f3n de 5 d\u00edas del \u00edndice F10.7 generado por N-BEATS.
