{"id":26225,"date":"2022-02-11T10:01:29","date_gmt":"2022-02-11T16:01:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=26225"},"modified":"2022-02-11T10:01:58","modified_gmt":"2022-02-11T16:01:58","slug":"el-reactor-de-fusion-joint-european-torus-bate-el-record-de-generacion-de-energia-y-nos-acerca-a-una-nueva-fuente-de-energia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/energias-alternas\/el-reactor-de-fusion-joint-european-torus-bate-el-record-de-generacion-de-energia-y-nos-acerca-a-una-nueva-fuente-de-energia\/","title":{"rendered":"El reactor de fusi\u00f3n Joint European Torus bate el r\u00e9cord de generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda y nos acerca a una nueva fuente de energ\u00eda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Los cientificos han batido el record mundial en lo que considera un hito en la busqueda de la energia de fusion nuclear.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El JET es un tipo de reactor de fusi\u00f3n conocido como tokamak, una c\u00e1mara con forma de rosca que utiliza una disposici\u00f3n ordenada de bobinas magn\u00e9ticas para confinar corrientes circulares de plasma. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Este plasma se calienta a millones de grados y, en teor\u00eda, se mantiene el tiempo suficiente para que los \u00e1tomos de hidr\u00f3geno que contiene se fusionen para formar \u00e1tomos de helio, lo que libera una enorme cantidad de energ\u00eda.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Este es el proceso que tiene lugar en el interior del Sol, donde las tremendas fuerzas gravitatorias y el calor extremo fusionan los is\u00f3topos de hidr\u00f3geno deuterio y tritio para generar energ\u00eda.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Sin embargo, el tritio es relativamente raro y problem\u00e1tico de manejar aqu\u00ed en la Tierra, y por esta raz\u00f3n los \u00faltimos experimentos en los que se obtuvieron este combustible fueron los que batieron el r\u00e9cord en el JET en 1997. Los investigadores suelen utilizar hidr\u00f3geno o deuterio en lugar de tritio en los experimentos con plasma.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"ecoin-3508e1a2b61e84f128507d6abe2f1169\" class=\"ecoin-3508e1a2b61e84f128507d6abe2f1169 ecoin-mitad-contenido\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Podemos explorar muy bien la f\u00edsica de los plasmas de fusi\u00f3n trabajando con hidr\u00f3geno o deuterio, por lo que \u00e9ste es el est\u00e1ndar en todo el mundo. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Sin embargo, para la transici\u00f3n al experimento internacional de fusi\u00f3n a gran escala ITER, es importante que nos preparemos para las condiciones que all\u00ed se dan.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><cite><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Dra. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Athina Kappatou, Instituto Max Planck de F\u00edsica del Plasma.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/cite><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El ITER, o Reactor Termonuclear Experimental Internacional, es un tokamak de siete pisos de altura que se est\u00e1 construyendo en el sur de Francia, y se descartar\u00e1 en el mayor dispositivo de fusi\u00f3n nuclear del mundo cuando est\u00e9 terminado en 2025. El ITER usar\u00e1 una mezcla 50:50 de deuterio y tritio y est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para producir 500 MW de potencia a partir de una entrada de 50 MW para calentar el plasma, lo que demuestra que se multiplica por diez la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Para preparar estos experimentos a finales de esta d\u00e9cada, los ingenieros del JET sustituir\u00e1n el revestimiento interior de carbono de la vasija de plasma por una combinaci\u00f3n de berilio y tungsteno, los mismos materiales que revestir\u00e1n las paredes del ITER. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Esta modificaci\u00f3n, junto con una cuidadosa modelizaci\u00f3n previa a los experimentos, permiti\u00f3 a los cient\u00edficos producir un plasma estable con el combustible deuterio-tritio que\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">produjo 59 megajulios de energ\u00eda en cinco segundos<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , m\u00e1s del doble del registro anterior.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Estos resultados hist\u00f3ricos nos han acercado probablemente a la conquista de uno de los mayores desaf\u00edos cient\u00edficos y de ingenier\u00eda. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Es la recompensa a m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os de investigaci\u00f3n y experimentos con nuestros socios de toda Europa.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: los experimentos de 1997, el reactor tambi\u00e9n result\u00f3 de 16 MW de potencia m\u00e1xima, un r\u00e9cord para un dispositivo tokamak. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ese registro sigue vigente hoy en d\u00eda y no fue superado por la ronda m\u00e1s reciente de experimentos del JET, que se centr\u00f3 en producir una potencia de fusi\u00f3n sostenida.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><span style=\"color: mantener la fusi\u00f3n durante cinco segundos, podremos hacerlo durante cinco minutos y luego durante cinco horas a medida que vayamos ampliando nuestras operaciones en m\u00e1quinas
