style=\"color: #000000;\">La dr\u00e1stica disminuci\u00f3n de las emisiones de CO2 observada a principios de 2020 cuando la pandemia se afianz\u00f3 y detuvo a muchos elementos de la sociedad llev\u00f3 a algunos a esperar que la recuperaci\u00f3n fuera\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.iea.org\/reports\/sustainable-recovery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cms-ai=\"0\">sostenible<\/a>\u00a0.\u00a0De hecho, la generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda renovable experiment\u00f3 el mayor crecimiento de su historia el a\u00f1o pasado, alcanzando un r\u00e9cord de m\u00e1s de 8.000 teravatios-hora (TWh) y combin\u00e1ndose con la energ\u00eda nuclear para proporcionar una mayor parte de la generaci\u00f3n de electricidad mundial que el carb\u00f3n.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A pesar de este crecimiento de las energ\u00edas renovables, el carb\u00f3n sigui\u00f3 contribuyendo enormemente al crecimiento masivo observado en las emisiones de CO2 relacionadas con la energ\u00eda en 2021, que alcanz\u00f3 los 36 300 millones de toneladas, el nivel m\u00e1s alto registrado.\u00a0El aumento observado de m\u00e1s de dos mil millones de toneladas es tambi\u00e9n el mayor registrado.\u00a0Esto m\u00e1s que cancela la disminuci\u00f3n observada relacionada con la pandemia en el a\u00f1o anterior, seg\u00fan la AIE.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"Enhancement\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-align-center=\"\">\n<div #000000;\">AIE<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La agencia informa que el 40 por ciento de ese crecimiento provino del carb\u00f3n, que represent\u00f3 un m\u00e1ximo hist\u00f3rico de 15.300 millones de toneladas de emisiones de CO2.\u00a0Dice que parte de la raz\u00f3n de esto fueron los precios r\u00e9cord del gas natural, lo que llev\u00f3 a que se quemara m\u00e1s carb\u00f3n.\u00a0Mientras tanto, las emisiones del petr\u00f3leo se mantuvieron muy por debajo de sus niveles previos a la pandemia, ya que la crisis continu\u00f3 afectando el transporte hasta 2021, es decir, el sector de la aviaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"Enhancement\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" principalmente por China, que se apoy\u00f3 en gran medida en el uso de la energ\u00eda del carb\u00f3n para satisfacer su demanda de electricidad que creci\u00f3 un 10 por ciento en 2021.
