{"id":2667,"date":"2016-06-22T16:36:01","date_gmt":"2016-06-22T22:36:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=2667"},"modified":"2016-06-22T16:36:01","modified_gmt":"2016-06-22T22:36:01","slug":"crean-una-prueba-de-sangre-que-predice-un-ataque-al-corazon-con-5-anos-de-antelacion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ciencia\/crean-una-prueba-de-sangre-que-predice-un-ataque-al-corazon-con-5-anos-de-antelacion\/","title":{"rendered":"Crean una prueba de sangre que predice un ataque al coraz\u00f3n con 5 a\u00f1os de antelaci\u00f3n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bioqu\u00edmicos brit\u00e1nicos han desarrollado una nueva prueba de sangre capaz de determinar la probabilidad de un ataque al coraz\u00f3n y predecirlo con una antelaci\u00f3n de cinco a\u00f1os<!--more-->, informa el peri\u00f3dico &#8216;The Telegraph&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con el diario, los investigadores han descubierto que los niveles elevados de anticuerpos, mol\u00e9culas producidas por el sistema inmune, est\u00e1n vinculados a un bajo riesgo de problemas del coraz\u00f3n, independientemente de otros factores de riesgo.<\/p>\n<p>Antes los m\u00e9dicos utilizaban factores como la edad, el sexo, el historial m\u00e9dico, los niveles de colesterol y la presi\u00f3n arterial para calcular el riesgo de futuros problemas card\u00edacos.<\/p>\n<p>Pero la nueva prueba ha demostrado que unos niveles elevados de anticuerpos son capaces de proteger el cuerpo de un ataque al coraz\u00f3n, incluso cuando el colesterol y la presi\u00f3n arterial son altos. As\u00ed, de acuerdo con los investigadores, las personas con mayor cantidad de anticuerpos ten\u00edan un 58% menos de riesgo de sufrir una enfermedad coronaria o infarto de miocardio y una probabilidad inferior en un 38% de sufrir un accidente cerebrovascular u otros episodios cardiacos durante el per\u00edodo de prueba de cinco a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Esperamos poder utilizar este nuevo hallazgo para estudiar los factores que permiten a algunas personas tener un sistema inmunol\u00f3gico fuerte que las protege de los ataques al coraz\u00f3n y a otras no. Tambi\u00e9n esperamos explorar formas de fortalecer el sistema inmunol\u00f3gico para ayudar en la protecci\u00f3n de las enfermedades del coraz\u00f3n&#8221;, dijo el investigador principal, Ramzi
