{"id":27183,"date":"2022-05-18T10:12:58","date_gmt":"2022-05-18T16:12:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=27183"},"modified":"2022-05-18T10:16:45","modified_gmt":"2022-05-18T16:16:45","slug":"extrana-celda-solar-nocturna-genera-energia-en-un-proceso-inverso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/energias-alternas\/extrana-celda-solar-nocturna-genera-energia-en-un-proceso-inverso\/","title":{"rendered":"Extra\u00f1a celda solar nocturna genera energ\u00eda en un proceso inverso"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-gtm-vis-recent-on-screen-8631395_73=\"270151\" data-gtm-vis-first-on-screen-8631395_73=\"270151\" data-gtm-vis-total-visible-time-8631395_73=\"100\" data-gtm-vis-has-fired-8631395_73=\"1\">Por primera vez en el mundo, un equipo de la Universidad de Nueva Gales del Sur (UNSW) ha demostrado una generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda medible a partir de &#8220;lo contrario de una celda solar convencional&#8221;.\u00a0Eventualmente podr\u00eda producir alrededor de una d\u00e9cima parte de la energ\u00eda que produce un panel solar, pero de noche.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los paneles solares, como todos sabemos, absorben la energ\u00eda de la luz solar y la convierten en electricidad.\u00a0Para simplificar demasiado, utilizan dos capas de semiconductores de silicio tratadas de manera diferente en lo que se conoce como uni\u00f3n PN.\u00a0La capa N est\u00e1 dopada con impurezas &#8220;donadoras&#8221; de electrones adicionales, la capa P est\u00e1 dopada con impurezas &#8220;aceptoras&#8221; (espacios en los que encajan los electrones) y en el medio hay una &#8220;regi\u00f3n de agotamiento&#8221;, donde esos electrones y receptores de electrones los agujeros m\u00e1s o menos se eliminan unos a otros, creando una barrera que impide que todos los electrones del lado N se difundan directamente hacia el lado P.<\/p>\n<div class=\"recirculation\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"PromoA\" data-content-type=\"article\" data-image-align=\"left\">\n<div class=\"PromoA-content\">\n<div class=\"PromoA-title\">Cuando la luz del sol incide sobre la celda, la energ\u00eda t\u00e9rmica de los fotones entrantes se absorbe en el silicio, y si un electr\u00f3n en la regi\u00f3n de agotamiento recibe suficiente energ\u00eda para saltar la banda prohibida entre los dos lados, puede salir de su agujero y ser acelerado a trav\u00e9s de ella. al lado N, aumentando el potencial de voltaje entre los dos lados. Conectando los dos lados en un circuito externo, puede hacer que los electrones regresen al lado P y hacer trabajo el\u00e9ctrico.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Todo lo cual quiere decir que es la energ\u00eda t\u00e9rmica en los fotones que descienden del cielo lo que inicia el proceso.\u00a0Pero esto no es s\u00f3lo un proceso unidireccional.\u00a0A medida que nuestro planeta gira, la radiaci\u00f3n solar calienta la Tierra durante el d\u00eda, pero la Tierra libera esa energ\u00eda nuevamente como luz infrarroja en el fresco de la noche.\u00a0Y es este flujo de fotones infrarrojos en el aire m\u00e1s fr\u00edo en lo que un grupo de investigadores de la UNSW est\u00e1 trabajando para aprovechar.<\/p>\n<div b\u00e1sicamente funciona como el inverso de una celda solar, aceptando la energ\u00eda t\u00e9rmica radiada hacia arriba desde la Tierra (o cualquier otra fuente de calor) hacia un \u00e1rea m\u00e1s fr\u00eda y convirtiendo el flujo de energ\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de ese diferencial de temperatura en potencial el\u00e9ctrico.\u00a0Est\u00e1 construido con algunos de los mismos materiales que se utilizan en las gafas de visi\u00f3n nocturna por infrarrojos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Es realmente lo contrario de una celda solar convencional en su funcionalidad&#8221;, nos explic\u00f3 en un correo electr\u00f3nico el Dr. Michael Nielsen, profesor e investigador de la Escuela de Ingenier\u00eda de Energ\u00eda Fotovoltaica y Renovable de la UNSW.\u00a0&#8220;Pero todav\u00eda usa una uni\u00f3n PN de semiconductores como el n\u00facleo del dispositivo (simplemente se ejecuta a la inversa).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;La idea de que termodin\u00e1micamente podemos producir energ\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de la emisi\u00f3n de luz en lugar de la absorci\u00f3n puede ser un obst\u00e1culo para muchos, pero al igual que una celda solar, lo que finalmente tenemos aqu\u00ed es un motor t\u00e9rmico, con la diferencia de cambiar el convertidor de energ\u00eda desde el lado fr\u00edo (c\u00e9lula solar en la Tierra que absorbe fotones del Sol) hasta el lado caliente (diodo termorradiativo en la Tierra que emite fotones a la frialdad del espacio)&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Dondequiera que haya un flujo de energ\u00eda, podemos convertirlo entre diferentes formas&#8221;, explic\u00f3 el profesor asociado Ned Ekins-Daukes, coautor de la investigaci\u00f3n de Nielsen.<\/p>\n<div class=\"Enhancement\"
