Porque qui\u00e9n soy como paciente, cu\u00e1l es mi historial, debe ser accesible en un solo clic.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Este paradigma no es un mero brindis al sol. Es una realidad con nombres y apellidos: big data. Ingentes vol\u00famenes de informaci\u00f3n capaces de registrar nuestra salud al minuto no solo para saber c\u00f3mo estamos hoy sino para predecir la hoja de ruta que nos har\u00e1 estar mejor ma\u00f1ana. Oportunidades de gesti\u00f3n sanitaria que pueden salvar cientos de millones de euros a los gobiernos. Las\u00a0aplicaciones del big data en la saludtienden al infinito e invitan a imaginar un nuevo paradigma para el sector con esta tecnolog\u00eda como fulcro.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHay una explosi\u00f3n de datos en la salud. Y todo este caudal sobrepasa a las instituciones y profesionales del sector. Pero al mismo tiempo hay la promesa de que esta informaci\u00f3n tiene el potencial de mejorar la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica\u201d, afirmaba Frans Van Houten, CEO de Philips, durante una entrevista\u00a0entrevista concedida a The Wall Street Journal\u00a0en el marco del Foro Econ\u00f3mico Mundial de Davos. Una promesa que tiene cifras. Por ejemplo, los 265.000 millones de euros que se podr\u00eda ahorrar el sistema de salud norteamericano implantando correctamente esta tecnolog\u00eda\u00a0, seg\u00fan la consultora McKinsey.
