La construcci\u00f3n ha sido bautizada con el nombre de\u00a0<b>West Melbourne Workplace\u00a0<\/b>y se trata de un edificio auto sustentable, es decir que genera toda la energ\u00eda que necesita para operar. Esto lo hace gracias a una fachada completamente cubierta de paneles solares y una instalaci\u00f3n adicional de paneles en la azotea del edificio. Son en total 1,182 los paneles que alimentan de manera inmediata al edificio con energ\u00eda, sin necesidad de que esta tenga que recorrer distancia alguna.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<figure class=\"mx-auto max-w-2xl\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span class=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"rounded-lg shadow mx-auto mainheroimage \" src=\"https:\/\/assets.entrepreneur.com\/content\/3x2\/2000\/1654725118-550SPENCERSTV04copy.jpg?auto=webp&amp;quality=95&amp;crop=16:9&amp;width=675\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"379.6875\" \/><\/span><a class=\"text-xs text-gray-600 mb-2 italic\" style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kennon.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kennon<\/a><\/span><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Los paneles, manufacturados por la empresa alemana\u00a0<b><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.avancis.de\/en\/\" rel=\"follow\">Avancis<\/a><\/b>, ofrecen dise\u00f1os atractivos muy alejados de los paneles solares tradicionales, lo que ha permitido a Studio Kennon otorgarle un aspecto atractivo al edificio. Adem\u00e1s de ser econ\u00f3micos, vienen en distintos colores (desde el gris oscuro hasta el azul marino) y ya son utilizados en diversos edificios de Europa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">En una entrevista que concedi\u00f3 a\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fastcompany.com\/90759064\/this-new-australian-high-rise-will-be-covered-in-1182-solar-panels?partner=rss&amp;utm_source=rss&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=rss+fastcompany&amp;utm_content=rss\" rel=\"follow\">Fast Company<\/a>, Peter Kennon, el arquitecto detr\u00e1s del proyecto, coment\u00f3: &#8220;Es urgente innovar nuestras tecnolog\u00edas de construcci\u00f3n a m\u00e9todos m\u00e1s sostenibles. La recolecci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda solar es una trayectoria natural en nuestros proyectos a gran escala, particularmente en lugares que tienen un gran acceso a la luz solar&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">El edificio West Melbourne Workplace se une a otros en el mundo con propuestas arquitect\u00f3nicas que m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del dise\u00f1o y contribuyen con el medio ambiente.
