Esta c\u00e1psula permitir\u00e1 ayudar a las vacunas de nueva generaci\u00f3n a hacer un trabajo m\u00e1s eficiente y eficaz que las actuales.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La capsula ya ha sido probada con \u00e9xito en tratamientos contra la\u00a0enfermedad neumoc\u00f3cica, una infecci\u00f3n que puede causar neumon\u00eda, sepsis, infecciones del o\u00eddo y la meningitis.<\/p>\n<p>Escherichia coli o E. coli, es un bacilo gramnegativo de la familia de las enterobacterias que se encuentra en el tracto gastrointestinal de humanos y animales. Es la bacteria anaerobia facultativa comensal m\u00e1s abundante de la flora intestinal; as\u00ed mismo, es uno de los organismos pat\u00f3genos m\u00e1s relevantes en el hombre.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEs un poco contradictorio teniendo en cuenta lo que escucha acerca de E. coli, pero hay muchas cepas de la\u00a0bacteria, la mayor\u00eda de los cuales son perfectamente normales en el cuerpo, que tienen un gran potencial para combatir la enfermedad\u201d, dijo Blaine A. Pfeifer, responsable de la investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/160701183554_1_900x600.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2745 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/160701183554_1_900x600.jpg\" alt=\"160701183554_1_900x600\" width=\"650\" height=\"485\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>El n\u00facleo de la c\u00e1psula es de una E. coli inofensiva envuelta en un\u00a0pol\u00edmero sint\u00e9tico llamado poli (amino-\u00e9ster beta)\u00a0que se asemeja a una valla de tela met\u00e1lica. El pol\u00edmero de carga positiva, en combinaci\u00f3n con la pared celular de bacterias con carga negativa, forma una especie de c\u00e1psula h\u00edbrida.<\/p>\n<p>En las pruebas los investigadores insertaron una vacuna a base de prote\u00edna, comercializada por Abcombi Biosciences y dise\u00f1ada para luchar contra la\u00a0enfermedad neumoc\u00f3cica. Los resultados, cuando se prob\u00f3 en ratones, fueron impresionantes, refieren los autores.<\/p>\n<p>El dise\u00f1o h\u00edbrido de la c\u00e1psula permite orientar de forma pasiva y activa c\u00e9lulas inmunes espec\u00edficas llamadas\u00a0c\u00e9lulas presentadoras de ant\u00edgenos\u00a0que desencadenan una respuesta inmune y tienen propiedades adyuvantes naturales y de componentes m\u00faltiples, realzando la respuesta inmune del cuerpo. Adem\u00e1s, posee mecanismos de suministro intracelular duales para dirigir una respuesta inmune en particular.<\/p>\n<p>Esta c\u00e1psula produce y entrega simult\u00e1neamente los componentes (ant\u00edgenos) necesarios para una vacuna y proporciona grandes capacidades de protecci\u00f3n de la\u00a0vacunaci\u00f3n\u00a0contra la enfermedad neumoc\u00f3cica.<\/p>\n<p>Los desarrolladores tambi\u00e9n refieren que el costo de su fabricaci\u00f3n es barato, incluso que por su flexibilidad en t\u00e9rminos de uso, tiene posibilidad de emplearse como un dispositivo de suministro para las terapias dirigidas al\u00a0c\u00e1ncer\u00a0o enfermedades infecciosas por virus y otras patolog\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cient\u00edficos de la Universidad de Buffalo desarrollaron una c\u00e1psula de transporte para\u00a0vacunas\u00a0basada en la bacteria E. coli.
