Los diminutos m\u00fasculos artificiales que controlan las alas de los robots emiten luz de colores durante el vuelo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Esta electroluminiscencia podr\u00eda permitir a los robots comunicarse entre s\u00ed. Por ejemplo, si a un enjambre de robots luci\u00e9rnaga se le env\u00eda a una misi\u00f3n de b\u00fasqueda y rescate en un edificio derrumbado, aquel robot que encuentre supervivientes podr\u00eda utilizar sus luces para avisar a otros y para pedir ayuda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La capacidad de emitir luz tambi\u00e9n sit\u00faa a estos robots, que apenas pesan m\u00e1s que un clip, un paso m\u00e1s cerca de volar por s\u00ed mismos fuera del laboratorio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"RichTextAlignCenter citewrapper\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"RichTextAlignCenter\" src=\"https:\/\/noticiasdelaciencia.com\/upload\/images\/06_2022\/2620_luciernagas-roboticas.jpg\" alt=\"[Img #66470]\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Inspirados por las luci\u00e9rnagas, unos investigadores del MIT han creado actuadores blandos que pueden emitir luz en diferentes colores o patrones. El equipo de Kevin Chen ha comprobado que es factible rastrear los robots con notable precisi\u00f3n utilizando la luz que emiten y solo tres c\u00e1maras de smartphone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Chen y sus colegas consiguieron la generaci\u00f3n de luz en sus robots incorporando min\u00fasculas part\u00edculas electroluminiscentes en los m\u00fasculos artificiales. El proceso solo a\u00f1ade un 2,5% m\u00e1s de peso, algo que no afecta al rendimiento de vuelo del robot.
