El equipo lo describi\u00f3 como &#8220;soldar&#8221; las mol\u00e9culas, d\u00e1ndoles una estructura entrelazada incre\u00edblemente fuerte.<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eso lo convierte en un adhesivo incre\u00edblemente poderoso.\u00a0El equipo lo prob\u00f3 pegando placas de acero y descubri\u00f3 que pod\u00edan soportar hasta 22 megapascales de fuerza de corte.\u00a0Lo m\u00e1s impresionante es que esa fuerza funcion\u00f3 no solo a temperatura ambiente, sino en cualquier lugar desde -196 \u00b0C (-320,8 \u00b0F) hasta 200 \u00b0C (392 \u00b0F).\u00a0Tambi\u00e9n result\u00f3 prometedor en otros materiales, e incluso funcion\u00f3 bajo el agua.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El equipo atribuye el \u00e9xito del adhesivo en parte a esas fuertes interacciones supramoleculares.\u00a0La fuerte uni\u00f3n expulsa el agua de la prote\u00edna, lo que significa que cuando la temperatura baja, no se pueden formar cristales de hielo y romper el material, como sucede a menudo con otros pegamentos.\u00a0Esto tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda ayudar a explicar por qu\u00e9 funciona bajo el agua.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como beneficio adicional, esos componentes entrelazados se pueden desmontar a pedido y reciclar, y el adhesivo de segunda generaci\u00f3n muestra b\u00e1sicamente la misma fuerza.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los investigadores dicen que este adhesivo supramolecular podr\u00eda ser particularmente \u00fatil para cosas que enfrentar\u00e1n grandes fluctuaciones de temperatura durante el uso, como las naves espaciales.<\/p>\n<p>Fuente:<\/p>\n<p>Irving, M.
