Las bater\u00edas de litio tienen muchos defectos, incluida la formaci\u00f3n de dendritas y el riesgo de incendio, sin mencionar la escasez de litio anunciada para 2025. Investigadores del Instituto de Tecnolog\u00eda de Massachusetts (MIT), en Estados Unidos, han encontrado la soluci\u00f3n perfecta con una bater\u00eda en sales fundidas.
