{"id":28058,"date":"2022-10-03T09:42:26","date_gmt":"2022-10-03T15:42:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=28058"},"modified":"2022-10-03T09:53:30","modified_gmt":"2022-10-03T15:53:30","slug":"desarrollan-nanoparticulas-que-mejoran-inmunoterapias-contra-el-cancer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ciencia\/desarrollan-nanoparticulas-que-mejoran-inmunoterapias-contra-el-cancer\/","title":{"rendered":"Desarrollan nanopart\u00edculas que mejoran inmunoterapias contra el c\u00e1ncer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-drop-cap\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un grupo de cient\u00edficos cre\u00f3 y evalu\u00f3, in vitro e in vivo, nanopart\u00edculas que fortalecen la acci\u00f3n de inmunoterapias oncol\u00f3gicas y disminuyen sus efectos secundarios t\u00f3xicos.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De acuerdo a referencias de medios internacionales, el equipo de investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 integrado por especialistas del Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n del C\u00e1ncer (CIC), centro mixto del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas (CSIC) y la Universidad de Salamanca (USAL), en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Concretamente, los investigadores han dise\u00f1ado un f\u00e1rmaco a base de nanopart\u00edculas que ha demostrado su eficacia en el tratamiento y seguimiento de la inmunoterapia oncol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el estudio, se ha caracterizado y evaluado in vitro e in vivo la aplicaci\u00f3n de estas nanopart\u00edculas que identifican y atacan de forma espec\u00edfica solamente a las c\u00e9lulas tumorales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHemos evaluado unas nanopart\u00edculas que presentan tanto un f\u00e1rmaco antitumoral derivado del cisplatino como una mol\u00e9cula que permite el seguimiento y trazabilidad de la nanopart\u00edcula en sistemas biol\u00f3gicos\u201d, explica el investigador del CIC, Manuel Fuentes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El equipo de Fuentes ha analizado qu\u00e9 ocurre desde que se administra la nanopart\u00edcula hasta que act\u00faa en la zona del tumor. La caracterizaci\u00f3n y evaluaci\u00f3n de sus aplicaciones abren la puerta al dise\u00f1o de nuevos f\u00e1rmacos antitumorales con aplicaci\u00f3n en inmunoterapia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una de las funciones del sistema inmunitario es identificar las c\u00e9lulas cancerosas del cuerpo y eliminarlas. Si desaparecen todas las c\u00e9lulas cancerosas desaparece con ellas el c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sin embargo, en ocasiones las c\u00e9lulas cancerosas desarrollan mecanismos para que el sistema inmunitario no pueda localizarlas y, por tanto, no son eliminadas del cuerpo mediante la respuesta inmune.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un \u00e1rea muy prometedora en la investigaci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer, incluidos los tumores hematol\u00f3gicos, es la inmunoterapia, donde se est\u00e1 investigando c\u00f3mo evitar que las c\u00e9lulas tumorales se oculten del sistema inmunitario. Conociendo estos mecanismos de respuesta se pueden desarrollar nuevos f\u00e1rmacos que mejoren la funci\u00f3n de identificar y eliminar las c\u00e9lulas cancerosas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cPara conseguir este prop\u00f3sito de identificaci\u00f3n y eliminaci\u00f3n, cuando las c\u00e9lulas cancerosas est\u00e1n pasando desapercibidas en el organismo, se debe manipular el sistema inmunitario para que recupere esta funci\u00f3n, y este es el marco en el que estamos trabajando\u201d, se\u00f1ala el investigador.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La nanomedicina es una especialidad de la biomedicina que puede aportar soluciones y el dise\u00f1o de nuevos f\u00e1rmacos m\u00e1s eficientes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mediante la nanomedicina se trabaja combinando nanopart\u00edculas que permiten manipular la respuesta inmune, actuando espec\u00edficamente en las c\u00e9lulas cancerosas y no en las c\u00e9lulas sanas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fuente: tv.gob.ve<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un grupo de cient\u00edficos cre\u00f3 y evalu\u00f3, in vitro e in vivo, nanopart\u00edculas que fortalecen la acci\u00f3n de inmunoterapias oncol\u00f3gicas y disminuyen sus efectos secundarios t\u00f3xicos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":28059,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[56,370],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-28058","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-ciencia","category-salud"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.7 -
