Lo que le sucede a una de las part\u00edculas en un par entrelazado determina lo que le sucede a la otra part\u00edcula, incluso si est\u00e1n muy separadas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Durante mucho tiempo, la pregunta fue si la correlaci\u00f3n se deb\u00eda a que las part\u00edculas en un par entrelazado conten\u00edan variables ocultas, instrucciones que les indican qu\u00e9 resultado deben dar en un experimento.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">En la d\u00e9cada de 1960, John Stewart Bell desarroll\u00f3 la desigualdad matem\u00e1tica que lleva su nombre. Este establece que si hay variables ocultas, la correlaci\u00f3n entre los resultados de un gran n\u00famero de mediciones nunca exceder\u00e1 un cierto valor. Sin embargo, la mec\u00e1nica cu\u00e1ntica predice que cierto tipo de experimento violar\u00e1 la desigualdad de Bell, lo que dar\u00e1 como resultado una correlaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s fuerte de lo que ser\u00eda posible de otro modo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">John Clauser desarroll\u00f3 las ideas de John Bell, lo que llev\u00f3 a un experimento pr\u00e1ctico. Cuando tom\u00f3 las medidas, respaldaron la mec\u00e1nica cu\u00e1ntica al violar claramente una desigualdad de Bell. Esto significa que la mec\u00e1nica cu\u00e1ntica no puede ser reemplazada por una teor\u00eda que utilice variables ocultas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Algunas lagunas quedaron despu\u00e9s del experimento de John Clauser. Alain Aspect, de la Universidad de Paris-Saclay, desarroll\u00f3 la configuraci\u00f3n, us\u00e1ndola de una manera que cerr\u00f3 una laguna importante. Pudo cambiar la configuraci\u00f3n de medici\u00f3n despu\u00e9s de que un par entrelazado hab\u00eda dejado su fuente, por lo que la configuraci\u00f3n que exist\u00eda cuando se emitieron no pod\u00eda afectar el resultado.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Usando herramientas refinadas y una larga serie de experimentos, Anton Zeilinger, de la Universidad de Viena, comenz\u00f3 a usar estados cu\u00e1nticos entrelazados. Entre otras cosas, su grupo de investigaci\u00f3n ha demostrado un fen\u00f3meno llamado teletransportaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica, que hace posible mover un estado cu\u00e1ntico de una part\u00edcula a otra a distancia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00abSe ha vuelto cada vez m\u00e1s claro que est\u00e1 surgiendo un nuevo tipo de tecnolog\u00eda cu\u00e1ntica.
