Al parecer esas caminatas ya quedaron en el pasado gracias a DURUS, un\u00a0robot\u00a0que camina como un humano\u00a0y con m\u00e1s estilo que muchos de nosotros.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta hace poco DURUS -desarrollado por\u00a0Giorgia Tech-\u00a0caminaba de manera m\u00e1s plana pero luego de unos ajustes y nuevas patas met\u00e1licas, el robot ha conseguido dar pasos m\u00e1s naturales, incluso pudiendo vestir unas zapatillas. Antes sus patas luc\u00edan as\u00ed:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/durus3-1434438167940-660x595.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2840 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/durus3-1434438167940-660x595.jpg\" alt=\"durus3-1434438167940-660x595\" width=\"348\" height=\"419\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Aaron Ames, director e ingeniero de Georgia Tech, asegura que ahora: &#8220;Nuestro robot puede dar pasos m\u00e1s largos y m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos que con sus patas planas, dado que\u00a0est\u00e1 replicando la locomoci\u00f3n humana&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>DURUS ahora integra una serie de resortes entre los tobillos y las patas, los cuales act\u00faan como tendones simulando los de los humanos. \u00c9stos permiten que el robot almacene energ\u00eda mec\u00e1nica cuando el tal\u00f3n golpea el suelo, la cual ser\u00e1 usada cuando los dedos se impulsen para dar un paso.<\/p>\n<p>De esta manera, buscan que el robot sea capaz de caminar en exteriores. Ames tambi\u00e9n mencion\u00f3 que las actualizaciones que le han aplicado a DURUS podr\u00edan significar\u00a0grandes mejoras para la rob\u00f3tica, sobretodo en relaci\u00f3n a las pr\u00f3tesis y
