{"id":2912,"date":"2016-07-27T10:14:38","date_gmt":"2016-07-27T16:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=2912"},"modified":"2016-07-27T10:15:10","modified_gmt":"2016-07-27T16:15:10","slug":"crean-microrobots","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ciencia\/crean-microrobots\/","title":{"rendered":"Crean microrobots para operar al interior del cuerpo humano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cient\u00edficos de la Escuela Polit\u00e9cnica Federal de Lausana desarrollaron un nuevo m\u00e9todo para la construcci\u00f3n de\u00a0microrobots\u00a0que por sus caracter\u00edsticas podr\u00edan ser utilizados desde el suministrar f\u00e1rmacos hasta realizar intervenciones quir\u00fargicas.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, los cient\u00edficos de todo el mundo han estado estudiando formas de usar robots en miniatura para tratar diversas\u00a0enfermedades\u00a0como por ejemplo despejar las arterias obstruidas.<\/p>\n<p>Para desarrollar los\u00a0minirobots\u00a0los investigadores se inspiraron en la biolog\u00eda dot\u00e1ndola adem\u00e1s de caracter\u00edsticas avanzadas, creando una plataforma para probar varios dise\u00f1os de robots para determinar los diferentes modos de locomoci\u00f3n, produciendo microrobots reconfigurables que pueden fabricarse con un alto rendimiento.<\/p>\n<p>Su manipulaci\u00f3n integra incluso un sistema para controlar de forma remota la movilidad de los robots con\u00a0campos electromagn\u00e9ticos, as\u00ed como un cambio de forma mediante la adici\u00f3n de calor.<\/p>\n<p>A diferencia de los robots convencionales, estos microrobots son suaves, flexibles y sin motor. Est\u00e1n hechos de un\u00a0hidrogel biocompatible\u00a0y nanopart\u00edculas magn\u00e9ticas las cuales les otorga su forma y hacen que se muevan cuando se aplica un campo electromagn\u00e9tico.<\/p>\n<p>Para su construcci\u00f3n en primer lugar, las\u00a0nanopart\u00edculas\u00a0se colocan dentro de las capas de un hidrogel biocompatible. A continuaci\u00f3n, se aplica un campo electromagn\u00e9tico para orientar las nanopart\u00edculas en diferentes partes del robot, seguido de una etapa de polimerizaci\u00f3n del hidrogel. Despu\u00e9s de esto, el robot se coloca en agua en el que se pliega de manera espec\u00edfica en funci\u00f3n de la orientaci\u00f3n de las nanopart\u00edculas, para formar la arquitectura 3D final.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez que se logra la forma final, un campo electromagn\u00e9tico se usa para darle movimiento al robot. As\u00ed, cuando este calienta, el robot cambia de forma y \u201cse despliega\u201d. Este enfoque permiti\u00f3 a los investigadores construir microrobots que imitan las\u00a0bacterias\u00a0que causa latripanosomiasis africana, tambi\u00e9n conocida como la enfermedad del sue\u00f1o. Esta bacteria particular utiliza un flagelo para la propulsi\u00f3n, pero lo esconde una vez dentro de la corriente sangu\u00ednea de una persona como un mecanismo de supervivencia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMostramos que tanto el cuerpo de una bacteria y su flagelo juegan un papel importante en su movimiento. Nuestro nuevo m\u00e9todo de producci\u00f3n nos permite probar una gran variedad de formas y combinaciones para obtener la mejor capacidad de movimiento para una tarea determinada. Nuestra investigaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n proporciona informaci\u00f3n valiosa sobre c\u00f3mo lasbacterias\u00a0se mueven dentro del cuerpo humano y se adaptan a los cambios en su microambiente \u201c,
