{"id":2932,"date":"2016-07-29T12:25:22","date_gmt":"2016-07-29T18:25:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=2932"},"modified":"2016-07-29T12:27:12","modified_gmt":"2016-07-29T18:27:12","slug":"china-adn-humanos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ciencia\/china-adn-humanos\/","title":{"rendered":"China realizar\u00e1 las primeras pruebas de edici\u00f3n de ADN en humanos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cient\u00edficos chinos de la\u00a0Universidad de Sinchuan, ser\u00e1n los pioneros en usar la tecnolog\u00eda de modificaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica CRISPR en humanos. <!--more-->La t\u00e9cnica\u00a0se aplicar\u00e1 sobre pacientes con\u00a0c\u00e1ncer de pulm\u00f3n\u00a0con met\u00e1stasis en los que no ha funcionado \u00a0otros tratamientos como la quimioterapia o la radioterapia.<\/p>\n<p>La tecnolog\u00eda\u00a0CRISPR\/Cas9\u00a0es una herramienta molecular utilizada para \u201ceditar\u201d o \u201ccorregir\u201d el genoma de cualquier c\u00e9lula, incluyendo a las c\u00e9lulas humanas. Ser\u00eda algo as\u00ed como unas tijeras moleculares que son capaces de cortar cualquier mol\u00e9cula de ADN haci\u00e9ndolo adem\u00e1s de una manera muy precisa y totalmente controlada para modificar su secuencia, eliminando o insertando nuevo\u00a0ADN.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dLas opciones que quedan son muy limitadas y esta t\u00e9cnica es una gran esperanza para todos los pacientes de c\u00e1ncer que tratamos a diario\u201d, dijo Lu You, responsable de la investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En este primer ensayo mediante el m\u00e9todo CRISPR\/Cas 9, \u00a0los cient\u00edficos buscar\u00e1n extraerlinfocitos T\u00a0de la sangre de los pacientes, con el fin de aplicarles dicha t\u00e9cnica de modificaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica e intentar eliminar un gen que contiene a la prote\u00edna PD-1, que es la que genera una respuesta del sistema inmune para evitar cualquier ataque o amenaza para las c\u00e9lulas.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de sacar a los linfocitos T, se volver\u00e1n a colocar en la sangre de los participantes, para tratar de que, con el bloqueo de la PD-1, se incremente la reacci\u00f3n frente a las\u00a0c\u00e9lulas cancer\u00edgenas. \u201cEso ser\u00eda m\u00e1s poderoso que los anticuerpos\u201d, expres\u00f3 Timothy Chan, investigador cl\u00ednico en inmunoterapia en el Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center de Nueva York.<\/p>\n<p>Los\u00a0linfocitos T o c\u00e9lulas T\u00a0pertenecen al grupo de los leucocitos o gl\u00f3bulos blancos conocidos como agranulocitos y\u00a0son los responsables de coordinar la respuesta inmune celular la cual nos protege contra\u00a0ant\u00edgenos extra\u00f1os como virus, hongos, tejidos transplantados.<\/p>\n<p>La compa\u00f1\u00eda de biotecnolog\u00eda Chengdu MedGenCell se encargar\u00e1 de analizar y validar las c\u00e9lulas que se sustraer\u00e1n de los pacientes, para asegurase de que se eliminan los\u00a0genesadecuados antes de reintroducirlas en el sistema sangu\u00edneo.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con Lu, su equipo fue capaz de moverse r\u00e1pidamente, ya que tienen experiencia en ensayos cl\u00ednicos de tratamientos contra el c\u00e1ncer, ya que\u00a0China concede una alta prioridad en la investigaci\u00f3n biom\u00e9dica.<\/p>\n<p>A la fecha China cuenta diferentes novedades en el campo de la edici\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica con el CRISPR, en donde se incluyen los primeros\u00a0embriones humanos\u00a0y monos CRISPR-editados.<\/p>\n<p>A finales de a\u00f1o, Estados Unidos tiene planeado llevar a cabo un experimento similar parar extraer
