{"id":29344,"date":"2024-07-04T08:10:53","date_gmt":"2024-07-04T14:10:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=29344"},"modified":"2025-10-24T15:43:27","modified_gmt":"2025-10-24T21:43:27","slug":"cientificos-crean-tela-que-enfria-9-grados-la-temperatura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/materiales\/cientificos-crean-tela-que-enfria-9-grados-la-temperatura\/","title":{"rendered":"Cient\u00edficos crean tela que enfr\u00eda 9 grados la temperatura"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Esto plantea un panorama sofocante en el que el aire acondicionado y otros sistemas que enfr\u00edan habitaciones y no necesitan instalaci\u00f3n son imprescindibles.<\/p>\n<p>El principal problema es que la climatizaci\u00f3n consume mucha energ\u00eda y no est\u00e1 disponible en espacios exteriores, aunque haya soluciones que prometen bajar hasta 10 grados la temperatura en plena calle.<\/p>\n<p>Por eso, desde hace a\u00f1os cient\u00edficos e ingenieros de todo el mundo buscan innovaciones tecnol\u00f3gicas capaces de refrigerar el cuerpo en forma de wearable o que se integran directamente en la ropa que llevamos.<\/p>\n<p>En eso lleva a\u00f1os trabajando un equipo de investigadores de la Escuela Pritzker de Ingenier\u00eda Molecular (PME) de la Universidad de Chicago, en EE.UU.<\/p>\n<p>Ellos han desarrollado un nuevo tipo de tejido que se puede usar para confeccionar ropa, pero tambi\u00e9n puede usarse para revestir edificios y coches para reducir notablemente la temperatura en su interior.<\/p>\n<p>En un art\u00edculo recientemente publicado en Science, se\u00f1alan que en pruebas llevadas a cabo bajo el sol abrasador de Arizona, el material se mantuvo 8,9 \u00baC m\u00e1s fresco que la seda, que es capaz de reflejar la mayor parte de la luz solar y suele ser habitual en las prendas veraniegas.<\/p>\n<p>El principal desaf\u00edo para los investigadores fue dise\u00f1ar un nuevo tipo de elemento textil que cubriera ambas necesidades.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa solar es luz visible, la radiaci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica es infrarroja, as\u00ed que tienen longitudes de onda diferentes. Eso significa que se necesita un material que tenga dos propiedades \u00f3pticas al mismo tiempo. Y eso es muy dif\u00edcil de conseguir\u201d, sostiene Chenxi Sui, miembro del equipo del PME y coautor del art\u00edculo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHay que jugar con la ciencia de materiales para dise\u00f1ar y ajustar el material, de modo que ofrezca diferentes resonancias en distintas longitudes de onda\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed crearon el \u201cdispositivo wearable de emisividad variable\u201d (WeaVE, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), que se encarga de ajustar electroqu\u00edmicamente el transporte de calor radiactivo para ayudar a los usuarios a mantener el confort t\u00e9rmico frente a los cambios en la temperatura ambiente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente: elheraldo.co<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Vazquez, A.
