{"id":30016,"date":"2025-03-06T08:43:40","date_gmt":"2025-03-06T14:43:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=30016"},"modified":"2025-10-24T15:17:40","modified_gmt":"2025-10-24T21:17:40","slug":"mwc-2025-ia-es-un-riesgo-para-la-seguridad-pero-no-adoptarla-es-un-riesgo-mayor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ciberseguridad\/mwc-2025-ia-es-un-riesgo-para-la-seguridad-pero-no-adoptarla-es-un-riesgo-mayor\/","title":{"rendered":"MWC 2025 | IA es un riesgo para la seguridad, pero no adoptarla es un riesgo mayor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Barcelona, Espa\u00f1a<\/em>.- Empresas de ciberseguridad presentes en el MWC 2025 advirtieron que si bien la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) representa un riesgo para la seguridad, la falta de su adopci\u00f3n como protecci\u00f3n representa un riesgo igual o mayor, en tanto la tecnolog\u00eda puede ayudar tambi\u00e9n para hacer frente a retos como la identificaci\u00f3n eficiente de amenazas o compensar la falta de talento en el mercado.<\/p>\n<p>Durante el panel \u201c\u00bfSuperar\u00e1 la IA nuestras defensas de seguridad?\u201d, los ponentes alertaron que existen aproximadamente 4 millones de vacantes laborales en el sector de seguridad a nivel mundial, en medio de nuevas amenazas generadas por el uso de IA, incluyendo\u00a0<em>deep fakes<\/em>,\u00a0<em>phishing<\/em>\u00a0o para automatizar la creaci\u00f3n de\u00a0<em>malware<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Inna Ushakova, CEO de AI EdgeLabs, destac\u00f3 que si\u00a0no se usa la IA para procesos de seguridad o si a\u00fan se depende de procesos manuales, eso ya representa una brecha que los ciberdelincuentes buscar\u00e1n aprovechar, al contar con herramientas que facilitan la creaci\u00f3n de ataques.<\/p>\n<p>Ushakova recomend\u00f3 que se requiere la adopci\u00f3n de un\u00a0proceso de seguridad multicapa, que considere la protecci\u00f3n de componentes como el\u00a0<em>hardware<\/em>\u00a0o las cargas de trabajo. Por ejemplo, si se implementa una IA en una instalaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica como una estaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda remota, la informaci\u00f3n a\u00fan puede ser vulnerada por alguien que tenga acceso f\u00edsico a las GPUs.<\/p>\n<p>Paolo Palumbo, vicepresidente de WithSecure Intelligence, coincidi\u00f3 en que no hay opci\u00f3n m\u00e1s que fortalecer las defensas propias con IA, pero esta debe estar debidamente integrada o embebida en las aplicaciones y procesos. De este modo, consider\u00f3 que se podr\u00eda\u00a0nivelar el nivel de juego entre organizaciones y ciberdelincuentes\u00a0y democratizar el acceso a capacidades de defensa.<\/p>\n<p>Melanie Garson, profesora del University College London, indic\u00f3 que si bien un 76 por ciento de ejecutivos est\u00e1n incrementando el presupuesto en IA, deber\u00eda acompa\u00f1arse de una inversi\u00f3n equivalente en seguridad, a la vez que se debe planear la protecci\u00f3n como una forma preventiva antes del despliegue de una nueva soluci\u00f3n o aplicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Al mismo tiempo, los panelistas indicaron que la seguridad basada en IA debe implementarse con un\u00a0enfoque equilibrado que considere la privacidad, los sesgos y la responsabilidad\u00a0compartida entre desarrolladores y usuarios.<\/p>\n<p>Ushakova tambi\u00e9n recomend\u00f3 mantener cautela sobre el tipo de informaci\u00f3n que se comparte con\u00a0<em>chatbots<\/em>\u00a0como ChatGPT, que podr\u00edan vulnerar informaci\u00f3n confidencial. Alert\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n que ante el crecimiento exponencial de datos, las organizaciones deben ser selectivas en lo que se debe proteger.<\/p>\n<p>Rebekah Johnson, CEO de Numeracle, consider\u00f3 que tambi\u00e9n existe cierta responsabilidad de parte del gobierno para permitir que la IA se pueda adoptar como una herramienta de protecci\u00f3n; as\u00ed como de los desarrolladores de IA, quienes deber\u00edan tomarse en serio la seguridad, y no dejar que los usuarios sean los \u00fanicos responsables de protegerla.<\/p>\n<p>Fuente.<\/p>\n<p>DPL News (2025, 06 de marzo).
