{"id":30261,"date":"2025-04-24T08:34:30","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T14:34:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=30261"},"modified":"2025-10-24T14:58:37","modified_gmt":"2025-10-24T20:58:37","slug":"mas-ninas-y-mujeres-en-la-ciencia-una-apuesta-al-desarrollo-inclusivo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ciencia\/mas-ninas-y-mujeres-en-la-ciencia-una-apuesta-al-desarrollo-inclusivo\/","title":{"rendered":"M\u00e1s ni\u00f1as y mujeres en la ciencia: una apuesta al desarrollo inclusivo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>En el marco del\u00a0D\u00eda Internacional de las Ni\u00f1as en las TIC, el Ministerio de Industria, Energ\u00eda y Miner\u00eda (MIEM) reafirma su compromiso con la construcci\u00f3n de un futuro m\u00e1s justo, inclusivo e innovador, donde ni\u00f1as y mujeres puedan desarrollarse plenamente en \u00e1reas clave como la ciencia, la tecnolog\u00eda, la ingenier\u00eda y las matem\u00e1ticas (STEM).<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan datos de la\u00a0C\u00e1mara Uruguaya de Tecnolog\u00edas de la Informaci\u00f3n\u00a0(CUTI), apenas\u00a0el 33% de quienes trabajan en el sector TIC en Uruguay son mujeres. Esta participaci\u00f3n se reduce a\u00fan m\u00e1s cuando hablamos de puestos de liderazgo, especializaci\u00f3n y toma de decisiones.<\/p>\n<p>Sobre este tema la ministra Fernanda Cardona expres\u00f3 que \u201cReducir estas brechas es una cuesti\u00f3n de justicia social y, sin dudas, debe ser una pol\u00edtica de Estado\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El Informe Mujeres e Industria TI (CUTI, 2025) evidencia que, aunque muchas empresas TIC consideran deseable una mayor inclusi\u00f3n de mujeres, enfrentan\u00a0dificultades estructurales y culturales para lograrlo. Entre los desaf\u00edos m\u00e1s se\u00f1alados est\u00e1n:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La escasez de candidatas (74%).<\/li>\n<li>Sesgos inconscientes y preconceptos (31%).<\/li>\n<li>Din\u00e1micas laborales poco compatibles con tareas de cuidado (10%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el informe se\u00f1ala que existe consenso sobre el\u00a0impacto positivo de la participaci\u00f3n de mujeres en el sector\u00a0y destaca que, por tratarse de una actividad que\u00a0brinda ingresos que superan el promedio nacional, repercute en las posibilidades de mejorar su libertad econ\u00f3mica y calidad de vida.<\/p>\n<p>Para la ministra de Industria, Energ\u00eda y Miner\u00eda, el desarrollo econ\u00f3mico, social y sostenible solo ser\u00e1 posible si es un desarrollo inclusivo, donde la diversidad de perspectivas y experiencias nos permitan llegar a soluciones m\u00e1s creativas e innovadoras.<\/p>\n<p>Para que haya m\u00e1s mujeres liderando la industria del pa\u00eds es necesario que m\u00e1s ni\u00f1as y adolescentes vean en la ciencia y la tecnolog\u00eda un camino posible y de oportunidades. Para eso, es necesario generar entornos educativos, laborales y sociales que impulsen su desarrollo y derriben barreras.<\/p>\n<p>Desde el MIEM se desarrollan distintas iniciativas orientadas a\u00a0visibilizar, fomentar y apoyar la participaci\u00f3n de ni\u00f1as y mujeres en sectores intensivos en ciencia y tecnolog\u00eda. A modo de ejemplo, desde 2016 el MIEM coorganiza la Semana de la Ciencia y la Tecnolog\u00eda, que es liderada por el Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n y Cultura.<\/p>\n<p>Esta semana es clave por su alcance masivo y descentralizado, promoviendo el acercamiento a la ciencia y la tecnolog\u00eda en todo el pa\u00eds, con foco en j\u00f3venes y adolescentes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDebemos multiplicar y profundizar este tipo de iniciativas\u201d, manifest\u00f3 Cardona, quien se\u00f1al\u00f3 que desde el MIEM se va a trabajar para que cada vez m\u00e1s ni\u00f1as y mujeres encuentren en la tecnolog\u00eda una herramienta de empoderamiento y crecimiento.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cComo mujer que lidera un ministerio de estas caracter\u00edsticas siento la obligaci\u00f3n de incorporar esta mirada en las pol\u00edticas que impulsamos para generar m\u00e1s oportunidades\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Fuente.<\/p>\n<p>DPL News (2025, 24 de abril).
