Musk anunci\u00f3 cual ser\u00e1 el primer proyecto que tiene pensado para\u00a0SolarCity, la constructora de paneles solares que compr\u00f3 e integr\u00f3 a Tesla a principios de este mes, ni m\u00e1s ni menos que\u00a0construir el primer techo solar del mundo.\u00a0Con esto Musk busca consolidar su plan de transformar a Tesla en una\u00a0compa\u00f1\u00eda de energ\u00eda, intentando evitar que se le siga viendo s\u00f3lo como una empresa automotriz.<\/p>\n<p>El techo solar ya comenz\u00f3 a construirse, y se recalc\u00f3 que\u00a0no ser\u00e1 un tejado al que se le insertan paneles solares, sino que el grueso de\u00a0su estructura estar\u00e1 fabricada con paneles solares resistentes, que proteger\u00e1n de la\u00a0intemperie y proporcionar\u00e1n energ\u00eda a la casa.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con Musk entrar en el mercado de los techos y tejados ayudar\u00e1 a abaratar el costo total de la instalaci\u00f3n de paneles solares para el hogar, un mercado\u00a0que cada vez aumenta m\u00e1s en n\u00famero, porque tiene bastantes beneficios para el ambiente y ayuda a no depender de otros tipos de energ\u00eda, tanto el\u00e9ctrica como del gas, adem\u00e1s de ahorrar dinero a la larga.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando el proyecto est\u00e1 listo,\u00a0los usuarios\u00a0podr\u00e1n\u00a0personalizar el dise\u00f1o de su techo, se adaptar\u00e1n a todos los tipos de vivienda (desde casas hasta departamentos), y tambi\u00e9n vender\u00e1n \u201cparches\u201d, que ayudar\u00e1n a reparar un tejado solar maltratado.<\/p>\n<p>Se espera que la nueva divisi\u00f3n de SolarCity comience a operar en el 2017.\u00a0El anuncio se dio durante la presentaci\u00f3n de los\u00a0resultados financieros de SolarCity, siendo la primer reuni\u00f3n de este tipo desde que la
