Estas capacidades han servido de inspiraci\u00f3n para pieles artificiales para v\u00edctimas de quemaduras y de \u00e1cido.<!--more-->Los cient\u00edficos han desarrollado diferentes materiales que usualmente llevan procesos muy complejos y costosos de manufactura para imitar estas capacidades.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora ingenieros de la\u00a0Universidad Rey Abdullah de Arabia Saudita de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda\u00a0(KAUST) han desarrollado un\u00a0sensor de piel de bajo costo\u00a0utilizando materiales de uso cotidiano, el sensor es capaz de detectar presi\u00f3n, temperatura, humedad, proximidad, el pH y el flujo de aire.<\/p>\n<p>El \u201cpapel piel\u201d multisensorial integra funciones de detecci\u00f3n en tiempo real dise\u00f1adas para imitar la piel humana. El equipo utiliz\u00f3 objetos cotidianos de cocina, incluyendo notas adhesivas para detectar humedad, esponjas y toallitas para detectar la presi\u00f3n y papel aluminio para detectar el movimiento.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/admt201600004-fig-0002-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3732 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/admt201600004-fig-0002-2.png\" alt=\"admt201600004-fig-0002-2\" width=\"477\" height=\"552\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La coloraci\u00f3n de una nota adhesiva con un l\u00e1piz permiti\u00f3 al papel detectar los niveles de acidez, y usaron papel aluminio junto con tinta conductora de plata para detectar diferentes temperaturas. Los materiales se ponen juntos en una plataforma basada en papel, que despu\u00e9s se conecta a un dispositivo para controlar los cambios en la conductividad el\u00e9ctrica de acuerdo con el est\u00edmulo externo.<\/p>\n<p>Muhammad Mustafa Hussain, profesor asociado del Laboratorio de Nanotecnolog\u00eda Integrado, KAUST dijo: \u201cEste trabajo tiene el potencial de revolucionar la industria de la electr\u00f3nica y abre la puerta a la comercializaci\u00f3n de dispositivos de detecci\u00f3n asequibles de alto rendimiento\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El equipo incorporar\u00e1 capacidades inal\u00e1mbricas en la piel de papel y llevar\u00e1 a cabo pruebas para evaluar cu\u00e1nto tiempo duran cuando se someten a flexi\u00f3n severa.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018La siguiente etapa ser\u00e1 la de optimizar la integraci\u00f3n del sensor para aplicaciones en sistemas de control m\u00e9dico.
