{"id":4030,"date":"2017-01-26T16:51:12","date_gmt":"2017-01-26T22:51:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=4030"},"modified":"2017-01-26T16:51:12","modified_gmt":"2017-01-26T22:51:12","slug":"espana-logran-crear-bioimpresora-en-3d-de-piel-humana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ciencia\/espana-logran-crear-bioimpresora-en-3d-de-piel-humana\/","title":{"rendered":"Espa\u00f1a: logran crear bioimpresora en 3D de piel humana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cient\u00edficos espa\u00f1oles han desarrollado en colaboraci\u00f3n con la empresa de\u00a0bioingenier\u00eda BioDan Group\u00a0el primer prototipo de una bioimpresora en tres dimensiones (3D) para crear piel humana totalmente funcional<!--more-->, bien para ser trasplantada a pacientes o para investigar y probar productos cosm\u00e9ticos, qu\u00edmicos o farmac\u00e9uticos.<\/p>\n<p>En el trabajo, publicado en la revista\u00a0&#8216;Biofabrication&#8217;,\u00a0han participado investigadores de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), del Centro de Investigaciones Energ\u00e9ticas, Medioambientales y Tecnol\u00f3gicas (CIEMAT) y el Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Mara\u00f1\u00f3n de Madrid.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, su estudio ha sido el primero en demostrar que a trav\u00e9s de las nuevas t\u00e9cnicas de impresi\u00f3n en tres dimensiones se puede producir piel humana y que \u00e9sta puede &#8220;en cantidades, tiempos y precio perfectamente compatibles&#8221; para usar en trasplantes o en investigaci\u00f3n, seg\u00fan Jos\u00e9 Luis Jorcano, jefe de la Unidad Mixta CIEMAT\/UC3M de Ingenier\u00eda Biom\u00e9dica.<\/p>\n<p>Esta nueva piel humana es uno de los primeros \u00f3rganos humanos vivos creados por bioimpresi\u00f3n que accede al mercado y replica la estructura natural de la piel, con una primera capa externa, la epidermis con su estrato c\u00f3rneo, que protege contra el medio ambiente exterior, junto a otra m\u00e1s profunda y gruesa, la dermis, que est\u00e1 integrada por fibroblastos que producen col\u00e1geno, la prote\u00edna que da elasticidad y resistencia mec\u00e1nica a la piel.<\/p>\n<p>No obstante, en la bioimpresi\u00f3n 3D la clave, seg\u00fan los expertos, son las biotintas, ya que en la tecnolog\u00eda de creaci\u00f3n de piel en lugar de cartuchos con tintas de colores se utilizan jeringas con distintos componentes.<\/p>\n<p>Para Juan Francisco Ca\u00f1izo, investigador del Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Mara\u00f1\u00f3n y de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, &#8220;saber c\u00f3mo mezclar lo componentes biol\u00f3gicos, en qu\u00e9 condiciones manejarlos para que no se deterioren las c\u00e9lulas y c\u00f3mo realizar la deposici\u00f3n adecuada es la parte cr\u00edtica del sistema&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>La deposici\u00f3n de estas biotintas, patentadas por el CIEMAT y bajo licencia de la empresa BioDan Group, est\u00e1 controlada por ordenador y se realiza de manera ordenada en una placa para ir produciendo la piel.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Dos tipos de producci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>El proceso de producci\u00f3n de estos tejidos se puede realizar de dos maneras, bien con piel alog\u00e9nica, a partir de un &#8216;stock&#8217; de c\u00e9lulas a gran escala, para procesos industriales; bien con piel aut\u00f3loga, creada caso a caso a partir de c\u00e9lulas del propio paciente, para usos terap\u00e9uticos como quemaduras graves.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Utilizamos \u00fanicamente c\u00e9lulas y componentes humanos para producir una piel bioactiva y que genere su propio col\u00e1geno humano, evitando el uso de col\u00e1geno animal como hacen otros m\u00e9todos&#8221;, se\u00f1alan los cient\u00edficos. Y no solo eso, porque actualmente ya est\u00e1n investigando c\u00f3mo imprimir otros tejidos humanos.<\/p>\n<p>Las ventajas de esta nueva tecnolog\u00eda son diversas, ya que &#8220;permite generar la piel de manera automatizada y estandarizada, y abarata el proceso respecto a la producci\u00f3n manual&#8221;, se\u00f1ala Alfredo Brisac, consejero delegado de BioDan Group, que se encargar\u00e1 de comercializar esta tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente el desarrollo de esta bioimpresora se encuentra en fase de aprobaci\u00f3n por diferentes entidades regulatorias europeas para garantizar que la piel producida sea apta para su utilizaci\u00f3n en trasplantes a pacientes con quemaduras y otros problemas en la piel. Adem\u00e1s, estos tejidos se pueden emplear para el testeo de productos farmac\u00e9uticos as\u00ed como cosm\u00e9ticos y qu\u00edmicos de gran consumo, donde la regulaci\u00f3n actual exige el
