Un grupo de investigadores ha creado un componente capaz de autodestruir cualquier smarpthone a distancia.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">No se trata del primer esfuerzo dentro de esta l\u00ednea, pero resulta uno de los m\u00e1s innovadores por su concepci\u00f3n, enfocada al terminal y no ya en las tarjetas SIM.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ng-scope ng-isolate-scope\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0El prototipo de este sistema fue desarrollado por un grupo de cient\u00edficos e ingenieros de la\u00a0King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), quienes crearon un componente de electrodos conectados a un pol\u00edmero capaz de expandir su volumen hasta 700% cuando se le aplica calor.<\/div>\n<div class=\"ng-scope ng-isolate-scope\">\n<p class=\"ng-scope\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">El sistema es sencillo: mediante una aplicaci\u00f3n remota se activa el sistema de autodestrucci\u00f3n, la bater\u00eda pasa energ\u00eda al componente que sube su temperatura y hace que el pol\u00edmero reaccione aniquilando todo el hardware interno del smartphone, volviendo imposible recuperar la informaci\u00f3n contenida en el smartphone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Muhammad Mustafa Hussain, ingeniero que colabor\u00f3 en el proyecto, en entrevista recogida por Digital Trends, asegura que los primeros clientes para este juguete ser\u00edan aquellos que necesitan protecci\u00f3n de datos, tales como comunidades de inteligencia, corporaciones, bancos, fondos de cobertura, administraciones de seguridad social, o individuos que manejen datos masivos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">En otras palabras, han creado el smartphone perfecto para James Bond.
