Cada l\u00e1mina de este pl\u00e1stico tiene un ancho de 300 mil\u00edmetros, y por la parte posterior est\u00e1 recubierta con una fina capa de plata.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Investigadores de la Universidad de Colorado en Boulder (Estados Unidos) han desarrollado una l\u00e1mina de pl\u00e1stico capaz de enfriar cualquier superficie sobre la que se ponga hasta en 10 grados, sin consumo energ\u00e9tico y por solo 0,50 d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La pel\u00edcula es un metamaterial de polimetilpenteno, un pol\u00edmero termopl\u00e1stico semicristalino, con peque\u00f1as bolas de cristal integradas, de unos 8 micr\u00f3metros cada una, que funcionan como peque\u00f1as c\u00e1maras de resonancia. Cada l\u00e1mina de este pl\u00e1stico tiene un ancho de 300 mil\u00edmetros, y por la parte posterior est\u00e1 recubierta con una fina capa de plata.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta l\u00e1mina se coloca encima de cualquier superficie, como el asfalto o el tejado. Y muestra, como sus desarrolladores han explicado en la web de la universidad, que posee propiedades que no se encuentran en la naturaleza.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo que hace este pl\u00e1stico es reflejar la energ\u00eda solar y enviarla de vuelta al espacio, al mismo tiempo que se desprende del calor de la superficie sobre la que se ha colocado en la forma de radiaci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica infrarroja.
