La buena noticia es que un grupo de cient\u00edficos franceses tal vez haya dado con la manera de que esto no vuelva a pasar, ya que identificaron a una prote\u00edna que guarda de manera secreta el virus, cuando los pacientes se encuentran aparentemente libres de su presencia, informa Engadget.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ng-scope ng-isolate-scope\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">La particularidad de la prote\u00edna <strong>CD32a<\/strong> es que s\u00f3lo est\u00e1 presente en las c\u00e9lulas infectadas, por lo que de alguna manera sirve como biomarcador para eliminar la enfermedad del cuerpo. Esto, evidentemente, podr\u00eda llevar a que los cient\u00edficos desarrollen un anticuerpo para borrar su presencia, y de paso ayudar a curar este mal. Cabe destacar que decimos esto porque la infecci\u00f3n sigue estando presente en otras estructuras que no contienen la mol\u00e9cula antes mencionada, por lo que a\u00fan es imposible curar de manera definitiva el VIH.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">El descubrimiento fue realizado por un equipo de la Universit\u00e9 de Montpellier, liderado por Monsef Benkirane, quien se\u00f1al\u00f3 a Nature que todo lo anterior fue realizado gracias a la tecnolog\u00eda de la que disponemos por estos d\u00edas. &#8220;Desde 1996 que nuestro sue\u00f1o ha sido matar a estas horribles c\u00e9lulas escondidas, pero no ten\u00edamos manera de hacerlo porque no las pod\u00edamos reconocer&#8221;, dijo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo que queda por hacer ahora es seguir con las pruebas y atacar las primeras partes del cuerpo que se ven afectadas por esta enfermedad, siendo estos los n\u00f3dulos linf\u00e1ticos y el est\u00f3mago. Si bien existe la esperanza de alg\u00fan d\u00eda eliminar este virus de nuestro sistema, lo cierto es que en el \u00faltimo tiempo hemos ido avanzando poco a poco de buena manera en este tema, tanto previniendo el contagio, como tratando el mal in situ.
