Colocar este tipo de \u201cpiel bi\u00f3nica\u201d en instrumentos quir\u00fargicos avanzados proporcionar\u00eda a los cirujanos la capacidad de \u201csentir t\u00e1ctilmente\u201d aquello sobre lo que estuviesen actuando, lo que les facilitar\u00eda m\u00e1s la labor que usando solo c\u00e1maras como se hace ahora. Estos sensores podr\u00edan facilitar que otros robots caminasen con un mejor dominio del equilibrio e interactuasen con su entorno.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El nuevo tejido podr\u00eda tambi\u00e9n usarse para imprimir electr\u00f3nica sobre piel humana real. Esta tecnolog\u00eda ponible, quiz\u00e1s catalogable de &#8220;definitiva&#8221;, podr\u00eda acabar siendo la mejor opci\u00f3n para monitorizar la salud de modo constante, y tambi\u00e9n servirles a los soldados en el campo de batalla como &#8220;sexto sentido&#8221; con el que detectar la cercan\u00eda de explosivos u otras sustancias peligrosas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Todas las capas de \u201ctintas\u201d usadas en los sensores flexibles del tejido pueden fijarse a temperatura ambiente. La impresi\u00f3n 3D convencional que usa pl\u00e1stico l\u00edquido es demasiado caliente para su uso sobre la piel, y adem\u00e1s el resultado es demasiado r\u00edgido para la libertad de movimientos que debe tener el cuerpo humano.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>McAlpine obtuvo reconocimiento internacional en 2013 al integrar electr\u00f3nica y nanomateriales novedosos impresos en 3D para
