En \u00e9pocas antiguas, realizar un trabajo, un ensayo acad\u00e9mico, art\u00edculo, rese\u00f1a o lo que fuera\u2026 requer\u00eda de mucho m\u00e1s esfuerzo, tiempo y dedicaci\u00f3n. Los estudiantes deb\u00edan asistir a bibliotecas para encontrar la mayor cantidad de informaci\u00f3n posible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahora, y no es que quitemos m\u00e9rito a las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas, todo se ha vuelto muy sencillo porque precisamente ese ha sido el objetivo principal del avance digital: facilitarnos las cosas. Buscar un libro en PDF no nos toma ni un minuto, encontrar informaci\u00f3n de m\u00faltiples sitios tampoco requiere de mucha dedicaci\u00f3n, por lo que los estudiantes actuales\u00a0recurren al famos\u00edsimo \u201ccopy-paste\u201d (copiar-pegar) en el que \u00fanicamente copian fragmentos de un texto, haci\u00e9ndolo pasar como propio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No est\u00e1 mal utilizar palabras de otros autores, siempre y cuando se brinde cr\u00e9dito y se citen sus frases precisas. Sin embargo, pocos son los estudiantes, met\u00f3dicos o acad\u00e9micos que comprenden c\u00f3mo es que funciona el formato APA. Adem\u00e1s, por el simple hecho de querer salir r\u00e1pido del paso, las personas optan por tomar este camino con tal de cumplir y no hacer ning\u00fan esfuerzo al hacer sus trabajos. Y bueno\u2026 no es de sorprenderse despu\u00e9s de haber visto que el mismo Enrique Pe\u00f1a Nieto, Presidente de M\u00e9xico, plagi\u00f3 parte de su tesis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por dichos motivos, el Instituto de Ingenier\u00eda de la\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unocero.com\/buscar\/?busqueda=unam\">UNAM<\/a>\u00a0desarroll\u00f3 un prototipo con el fin de que el plagio digital se erradique por completo. De este modo, las personas que ejecuten tal pr\u00e1ctica, ser\u00edan vulnerables ante dicha herramienta para recibir la penalizaci\u00f3n pertinente ante plagio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un equipo liderado por Gerardo Sierra Mart\u00ednez, titular del Grupo de Ingenier\u00eda Ling\u00fc\u00edstica, cre\u00f3 un software que podr\u00e1 detectar textos que han sido creados por el cl\u00e1sico copiar-pegar. Llevar\u00e1 por nombre Simil y tiene como objetivo expandirse alrededor de todo el pa\u00eds para facilitarles las cosas a los maestros encargados de revisar trabajos estudiantiles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este nuevo software podr\u00e1 identificar la par\u00e1frasis o similitud total de oraciones en diferentes textos, orden\u00e1ndolos y categorizando de mayor a menor, pero\u00a0no definir\u00e1 si se violaron los derechos de autor, ni se\u00f1alar\u00e1 si se citaron o no las fuentes del texto original (ser\u00eda perfecto si as\u00ed lo fuera).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los alumnos tampoco podr\u00e1n refugiarse en parafraseo, pues este prototipo desarrollado por la UNAM, detectar\u00e1 ideas iguales aunque no sean expresadas con las mismas palabras, ya sea utilizando sin\u00f3nimos, sustantivos, o t\u00e9rminos similares para disfrazar el plagio.
