{"id":581,"date":"2015-09-30T12:30:16","date_gmt":"2015-09-30T18:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=581"},"modified":"2015-09-30T12:30:16","modified_gmt":"2015-09-30T18:30:16","slug":"cientificos-descubren-espuma-resistente-como-el-acero","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/tech\/cientificos-descubren-espuma-resistente-como-el-acero\/","title":{"rendered":"Cient\u00edficos descubren espuma resistente como el acero"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Este material es 207 m\u00e1s fuerte que el acero, las aplicaciones militares de este descubrimiento son bastante amplias.<\/p>\n<p>Un grupo de investigadores chinos, pertenecientes al\u00a0Instituto de Cer\u00e1mica de Shangh\u00e1i, han descubierto un nuevo s\u00faper material que resulta ser tan ligero como un globo, pero m\u00e1s fuerte que los metales m\u00e1s resistentes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"responsive-img\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Cient\u00edficos-descubren-nueva-espuma-super-resistente-2-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con un reporte publicado por el\u00a0South China Morning Post, este material, semejante a la espuma en su composici\u00f3n, fue creado con el apoyo de la Academia China de Ciencias, mediante la formaci\u00f3n de\u00a0peque\u00f1os tubos de grafeno,\u00a0en una estructura que emula la composici\u00f3n celular, logrando en su conjunto un producto final que es tan estable \u00a0y s\u00f3lido en su constituci\u00f3n como un diamante, pero ultra ligero de peso y de dif\u00edcil destrucci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los resultados de esta investigaci\u00f3n ser\u00e1n publicados en el pr\u00f3ximo n\u00famero deAdvanced Materials, seg\u00fan informa\u00a0PC Tablet, en donde se detallar\u00e1 a fondo la composici\u00f3n de esta espuma ultra resistente, que ser\u00eda\u00a0207 veces m\u00e1s duro que el acero, con capacidad para\u00a0soportar hasta 40.000 veces su propio peso\u00a0sin doblarse.<\/p>\n<p>Estas cualidades, sumadas al hecho de que el material\u00a0puede ser comprimido hasta el 5% de su \u00a0tama\u00f1o original\u00a0para volver a tomar su forma inicial sin alteraci\u00f3n alguna, lo convierten en un perfecto candidato para el desarrollo de productos, herramientas y aplicaciones en la industria militar.<\/p>\n<p>La propia investigaci\u00f3n sugiere el aprovechamiento de esta espuma para fabricar\u00a0chalecos antibalas\u00a0superiores a los actuales, o como recubrimiento interno para tanques o cualquier otra maquinaria expuesta potencialmente a artiller\u00eda pesada.<\/p>\n<p>Ser\u00e1 interesante ver de qu\u00e9 forma podr\u00eda aprovecharse fuera de un escenario b\u00e9lico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Este material es 207 m\u00e1s fuerte que el acero, las aplicaciones militares de este descubrimiento son bastante amplias.
