alt=\"Captura de pantalla 2017-06-07 a las 1.19.01 p.m.\" width=\"794\" height=\"445\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La egresada de la carrera de Ingenier\u00eda Mec\u00e1nica del Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Hermosillo (ITH), indic\u00f3 que ante el crecimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n adulta en el mundo y de casos de enfermedades cr\u00f3nico degenerativas, se buscan alternativas de tratamiento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ante estudiantes y acad\u00e9micos del ITH, Leyva Mend\u00edvil comparti\u00f3 sus experiencias como estudiante de la Universidad de Southampton, Inglaterra, donde desarroll\u00f3 estudios de posgrado y actualmente trabaja en la investigaci\u00f3n sobre la piel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante su conferencia \u201cLa humana, un material extraordinario\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que en su estancia posdoctoral en dicha instituci\u00f3n educativa trabaj\u00f3 en la interacci\u00f3n de la piel humana con censores biom\u00e9dicos para dise\u00f1os de implantes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estoy investigando la piel humana, c\u00f3mo interact\u00faa con sensores biom\u00e9dicos que van implantados en la piel, c\u00f3mo cambian las propiedades mec\u00e1nicas de la piel y c\u00f3mo influyen los factores de dise\u00f1o del implante\u201d, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La cient\u00edfica, originaria de Guaymas, Sonora, precis\u00f3 que desarrolla un proyecto de doctorado enfocado en el modelado por computadora de las interacciones de contacto con la piel, as\u00ed como su microestructura mecano biol\u00f3gica en deformaci\u00f3n y fricci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Refiri\u00f3 que trabaja en un equipo de la Universidad de Southampton y la Universidad de Guadalajara, que estudian sensores bajo la piel, el cambio mec\u00e1nico que existe y las diversas condiciones que tiene la piel al movimiento, contacto y presi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Leyva Mend\u00edvil estudi\u00f3 en Inglaterra a trav\u00e9s de las becas que otorga el Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda (Conacyt), y se interes\u00f3 en el trabajo aplicado a mecano biolog\u00eda de los tejidos blandos con investigaciones multidisciplinarias en bioingenier\u00eda e ingenier\u00eda biom\u00e9dica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En estos momentos se tiene en desarrollo la reacci\u00f3n del implante en la piel para iniciar con los protocolos de investigaci\u00f3n en animales y posteriormente en humanos a trav\u00e9s de una c\u00e1psula que trae un sensor que se dise\u00f1a para medir las enfermedades cr\u00f3nico degenerativas\u201d, anot\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Diabetes e hipertensi\u00f3n son las principales enfermedades que aquejan a los adultos mayores y por ello se investiga un implante bajo la piel del paciente, puntualiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De esa manera, abund\u00f3, a trav\u00e9s de la presi\u00f3n de la piel se realicen lecturas de glucosa en la sangre o presi\u00f3n arterial y a trav\u00e9s de un scanner telef\u00f3nico se env\u00ede al m\u00e9dico la informaci\u00f3n y eval\u00fae si es necesario acudir al hospital.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mencion\u00f3 que en colaboraci\u00f3n conjunta con ingenieros el\u00e9ctricos y bi\u00f3logos trabajan para conocer los factores que alteran la piel, principalmente en personas de la tercera edad, por lo que se desarrolla un modelo por computadora para analizar la reacci\u00f3n entre implantes biom\u00e9dicos y la piel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
