{"id":5917,"date":"2017-06-12T11:17:49","date_gmt":"2017-06-12T17:17:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=5917"},"modified":"2017-06-12T11:17:49","modified_gmt":"2017-06-12T17:17:49","slug":"este-nuevo-material-es-elastico-como-la-goma-pero-duro-como-la-roca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/materiales\/este-nuevo-material-es-elastico-como-la-goma-pero-duro-como-la-roca\/","title":{"rendered":"Este nuevo material es el\u00e1stico como la goma pero duro como la roca"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La Carnegie Instituion for Science ha participado en el trabajo de desarrollo de un nuevo material con extraordinarias posibilidades, que podr\u00edan ir desde el blindaje militar hasta la ingenier\u00eda aeroespacial.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/1366_2000-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5918 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/1366_2000-1.jpg\" alt=\"1366_2000-1\" width=\"364\" height=\"205\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Y es que\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/advances.sciencemag.org\/content\/3\/6\/e1603213.full\">est<\/a>a nueva forma de carbono\u00a0es ultrafuerte, pero\u00a0tambi\u00e9n es el\u00e1stico y el\u00e9ctricamente conductor.<\/p>\n<h2>Carbono v\u00edtreo<\/h2>\n<p>Para desarrollar este nuevo material, los investigadores de la Universidad de Yanshan y Carnegie presurizaron y calentaron una forma estructuralmente desordenada de carbono llamado\u00a0carbono v\u00edtreo. Concretamente, se condujo el carbono v\u00edtreo a 250.000 veces la presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica normal y se calent\u00f3 a aproximadamente 982 grados Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>El carbono creado de resultas de este tratamiento queda formado por la las propiedades del grafito y el diamante, lo que da lugar a la combinaci\u00f3n \u00fanica de propiedades, tal y como explica\u00a0Zhisheng Zhao, ex miembro de Carnegie y actual miembro de Yanshan:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Los materiales livianos con elasticidad fuerte y robusta como \u00e9sta son muy deseables para aplicaciones en las que el ahorro de peso es de suma importancia, incluso m\u00e1s que el costo de los materiales.
