<\/a><\/p>\nEl n\u00famero total de muestras de malware descubiertas que tiene como objetivo atacar objetos conectados ha llegado a m\u00e1s de 7.000, y de estas m\u00e1s de la mitad ha surgido en 2017, seg\u00fan los investigadores de Kaspersky Lab.<\/p>\n
Los dispositivos inteligentes, como\u00a0relojes y televisores inteligentes, enrutadores y c\u00e1maras,\u00a0se conectan entre s\u00ed y constituyen el creciente fen\u00f3meno del\u00a0Internet de las Cosas\u00a0(IoT, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), una red de dispositivos equipados con tecnolog\u00eda integrada que les permite interactuar entre s\u00ed o con el ambiente externo. \u201cDebido al gran n\u00famero y variedad de dispositivos,\u00a0el IoT se ha convertido en un objetivo atractivo para los ciberdelincuentes\u201d, dicen los expertos en seguridad.<\/p>\n
La mayor\u00eda de los ataques detectados por los expertos de la compa\u00f1\u00eda ten\u00edan como objetivo las videograbadoras digitales o c\u00e1maras IP (63%), y\u00a020% eran contra objetos conectados a una red, entre ellos enrutadores, m\u00f3dems DSL, etc. Cerca del 1% de los objetivos eran los objetos electr\u00f3nicos m\u00e1s comunes utilizados por el p\u00fablico, como impresoras y dispositivos inteligentes para el hogar.<\/p>\n
Brasil es uno de los pa\u00edses que m\u00e1s ataques recibe dentro del estudio realizado a nivel global.<\/p>\n
Seg\u00fan los expertos, la raz\u00f3n para este aumento es simple:\u00a0el IoT es fr\u00e1gil y est\u00e1 expuesto a los ciberdelincuentes. \u201cLa gran mayor\u00eda de los dispositivos inteligentes funcionan con sistemas operativos basados en\u00a0Linux, lo que hace que los ataques sean m\u00e1s f\u00e1ciles porque los criminales pueden escribir c\u00f3digo malicioso gen\u00e9rico que se dirige a un gran n\u00famero de dispositivos simult\u00e1neamente.<\/p>\n
Seg\u00fan los expertos de la industria, ya hay m\u00e1s de 6.000 millones de terminales inteligentes en todo el mundo. La mayor\u00eda de ellos ni siquiera tienen una soluci\u00f3n de seguridad y sus fabricantes, por lo general, no producen ninguna actualizaci\u00f3n de seguridad ni nuevo firmware. Esto significa que hay millones y millones de dispositivos vulnerables, o quiz\u00e1s incluso dispositivos que ya han quedado afectados, afima el reporte.<\/p>\n
Para proteger los terminales, los expertos en seguridad de Kaspersky Lab aconsejan que si no es necesario, no se debe acceder a los dispositivos desde una red externa, entre otros asuntos.<\/p>\n
