{"id":6238,"date":"2017-07-07T10:12:28","date_gmt":"2017-07-07T16:12:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=6238"},"modified":"2017-07-07T10:12:28","modified_gmt":"2017-07-07T16:12:28","slug":"primer-telefono-movil-que-funciona-sin-bateria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/tech\/primer-telefono-movil-que-funciona-sin-bateria\/","title":{"rendered":"Primer tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil que funciona sin bater\u00eda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Investigadores de la Universidad de Washington han inventado un tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil sin bater\u00eda, que recolecta los pocos microwatios de potencia que requiere de se\u00f1ales de radio o la luz del ambiente.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/fotonoticia_20170707112451_640.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6239 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/fotonoticia_20170707112451_640.jpg\" alt=\"fotonoticia_20170707112451_640\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El equipo tambi\u00e9n hizo llamadas de Skype usando su tel\u00e9fono sin bater\u00eda, demostrando que el prototipo hecho de componentes comerciales disponibles puede recibir y transmitir voz y comunicarse con una estaci\u00f3n base.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La nueva tecnolog\u00eda se detalla en un art\u00edculo publicado el 1 de julio en Proceedings of the Association for Computing Machinery on Interactive, Mobile, Wearable and Ubiquitous Technologies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Hemos construido lo que creemos que es el primer tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil que consume casi cero energ\u00eda&#8221;, dijo en un comunicado el coautor Shyam Gollakota, profesor asociado de la Escuela Paul G. Allen de Ciencias de la Computaci\u00f3n e Ingenier\u00eda de la UW.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Para lograr el extremadamente bajo consumo de energ\u00eda que necesita para funcionar un tel\u00e9fono mediante la recolecci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda del medio ambiente, tuvimos que fundamentalmente repensar la forma en que estos dispositivos est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El equipo de cient\u00edficos e ingenieros el\u00e9ctricos de UW elimin\u00f3 un paso de elevada necesidad energ\u00e9tica en la mayor\u00eda de las transmisiones celulares modernas, el de convertir se\u00f1ales anal\u00f3gicas que transmiten el sonido a datos digitales que un tel\u00e9fono puede entender. Este proceso consume tanta energ\u00eda que ha sido imposible dise\u00f1ar un tel\u00e9fono que pueda confiar en fuentes de energ\u00eda ambiental.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por otra parte, el tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil sin bater\u00eda aprovecha las peque\u00f1as vibraciones en el micr\u00f3fono o el altavoz que se producen cuando una persona est\u00e1 hablando en un tel\u00e9fono o escuchando una llamada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una antena conectada a esos componentes convierte ese movimiento en cambios en la se\u00f1al de radio anal\u00f3gica est\u00e1ndar emitida por una estaci\u00f3n base celular. Este proceso codifica esencialmente los patrones de habla en las se\u00f1ales de radio reflejadas de una manera que no usa casi ninguna energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para transmitir voz, el tel\u00e9fono utiliza vibraciones del micr\u00f3fono del dispositivo para codificar patrones de voz en las se\u00f1ales reflejadas. Para recibir voz, convierte se\u00f1ales de radio codificadas en vibraciones de sonido que son capturadas por el altavoz del tel\u00e9fono. En el prototipo de dispositivo, el usuario pulsa un bot\u00f3n para cambiar entre estos dos modos de &#8220;transmisi\u00f3n&#8221; y &#8220;escucha&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El tel\u00e9fono sin bater\u00eda todav\u00eda requiere una peque\u00f1a cantidad de energ\u00eda para realizar algunas operaciones. El prototipo tiene un presupuesto de potencia de 3,5 microwatios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los investigadores de la Universidad de Washington demostraron c\u00f3mo recolectar esta peque\u00f1a cantidad de energ\u00eda de dos fuentes diferentes.
