{"id":6274,"date":"2017-07-11T11:47:41","date_gmt":"2017-07-11T17:47:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=6274"},"modified":"2017-07-11T11:47:41","modified_gmt":"2017-07-11T17:47:41","slug":"nanotubos-de-carbono-replican-la-biologia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/nanotecnologia\/nanotubos-de-carbono-replican-la-biologia\/","title":{"rendered":"Nanotubos de carbono replican la biolog\u00eda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Investigadores del laboratorio Lawrence Livermore han descubierto c\u00f3mo imitar las membranas lip\u00eddicas, uno de los bloques fundamentales de la funcionalidad biol\u00f3gica, mediante nanotubos de carbono.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Captura-de-pantalla-2017-07-11-a-las-12.42.51-p.m..png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6275 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Captura-de-pantalla-2017-07-11-a-las-12.42.51-p.m..png\" alt=\"Captura de pantalla 2017-07-11 a las 12.42.51 p.m.\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Utilizando la microscop\u00eda de fuerza at\u00f3mica de alta velocidad (HS-AFM), el equipo demostr\u00f3 que un nuevo tipo de canal biomim\u00e9tico \u2013poros de nanotubos de carbono (CNTPs)\u2013 tambi\u00e9n es m\u00f3vil lateralmente en las membranas lip\u00eddicas soportadas, reflejando el comportamiento biol\u00f3gico de las prote\u00ednas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La investigaci\u00f3n abre la puerta para usar los CNTP como modelos para estudiar la f\u00edsica de las prote\u00ednas de membrana, as\u00ed como componentes vers\u00e1tiles y m\u00f3viles para c\u00e9lulas artificiales y sistemas h\u00edbridos que combinan c\u00e9lulas biol\u00f3gicas y componentes artificiales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las membranas lip\u00eddicas representan uno de los componentes fundamentales de la arquitectura de la vida, ya que proporcionan una matriz vers\u00e1til para una variedad de prote\u00ednas de membrana que pueden realizar una variedad de tareas, incluyendo el reconocimiento molecular y la transducci\u00f3n de se\u00f1ales, transporte de metabolitos y remodelaci\u00f3n de membranas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La naturaleza fluida 2-D de la membrana lip\u00eddica no s\u00f3lo le permite adaptarse a una variedad de formas, sino que tambi\u00e9n permite que las prote\u00ednas de la membrana se difundan dentro de este plano bidimensional, lo que permite muchos procesos biol\u00f3gicos importantes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cPara entender la f\u00edsica fundamental del movimiento de prote\u00ednas en la membrana lip\u00eddica, necesit\u00e1bamos un enfoque que combinara simples y robustos modelos de prote\u00ednas de membrana con im\u00e1genes y enfoques de seguimiento que puedan seguir el movimiento de la membrana en la longitud y escalas de tiempo pertinentes\u201d, dijo en un comunicado Yuliang Zhang, investigador postdoctoral en Lawrence Livermoore y autor principal de un art\u00edculo en la revista Philosophical Transactions de la Royal Society B.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El equipo cre\u00f3 equivalentes de poros de membrana artificiales simples y vers\u00e1tiles (CNTPs) que est\u00e1n hechos de segmentos cortos de nanotubos de carbono de una sola pared que se pueden autoinsertar en la membrana lip\u00eddica y formar un poro transmembrana. Estos objetos muy simples muestran una gran cantidad de comportamientos similares a los poros proteicos de la membrana: pueden transportar agua, iones y protones a trav\u00e9s de la membrana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEncontramos que los CNTPS fueron capaces de reproducir otra propiedad clave de las prote\u00ednas de membrana: su capacidad de difusi\u00f3n en la membrana lip\u00eddica\u201d, dijo Alex Noy, cient\u00edfico de LLNL y el investigador principal del proyecto CNTP. \u201cLas im\u00e1genes AFM de alta velocidad pueden captar la din\u00e1mica en tiempo real del movimiento del CNTP en la membrana bi-capa lip\u00eddica soportada\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zhang dijo que el estudio demuestra que las similitudes entre los CNTPs y los
