De momento, se trata de un prototipo de silicona que s\u00f3lo aguanta 3.000 latidos.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hace tiempo que la\u00a0<a title=\"impresi\u00f3n de \u00f3rganos en tres dimensiones\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tecnoxplora.com\/ciencia\/innovacion\/ovario-impreso-permite-gestar-embarazo_20170519591ecbc40cf25e0177e74d7e.html\" target=\"_blank\">impresi\u00f3n de \u00f3rganos en tres dimensiones<\/a>\u00a0se ha convertido en una de las \u00e1reas de investigaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s prometedoras. Ahora, un equipo de cient\u00edficos suizos ha logrado un hito en este campo: ha creado\u00a0<a title=\"un coraz\u00f3n artificial impreso en 3D\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ethz.ch\/en\/news-and-events\/eth-news\/news\/2017\/07\/artificial_heart.html\" target=\"_blank\">un coraz\u00f3n artificial impreso en 3D<\/a>\u00a0capaz de latir como uno natural.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El dispositivo, obra de investigadores de la Escuela Polit\u00e9cnica Federal de Z\u00farich, es todav\u00eda un prototipo fabricado en silicona. Por eso, aunque puede latir como el m\u00fasculo cardiaco humano, s\u00f3lo permanece \u00edntegro durante unos 45 minutos -unos 3.000 latidos- antes de que el material comience a deformarse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los expertos, que han publicado su logro en &#8216;<a title=\"Artificial Organs'\" href=\"http:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1111\/aor.12956\/abstract\" target=\"_blank\">Artificial Organs&#8217;<\/a>, aseguran que seguir\u00e1n trabajando para mejorar el dispositivo. El objetivo es que sirva para sustituir a las actuales bombas de sangre que mantienen el flujo sangu\u00edneo en pacientes mientras esperan un trasplante, ya que \u00e9stas tienen partes mec\u00e1nicas y pueden poner en peligro la vida del enfermo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como los naturales, el coraz\u00f3n de silicona tiene un ventr\u00edculo derecho y otro izquierdo, as\u00ed como una c\u00e1mara adicional que simula los latidos del coraz\u00f3n mediante un sistema de aire presurizado.
