Gracias al empleo de materiales ligeros y altamente el\u00e1sticos, estos nuevos dispositivos conectados directamente a la piel han permitido realizar mediciones de gran precisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more-->Sin embargo, diferentes pruebas dermatol\u00f3gicas han demostrado que los parches cut\u00e1neos fabricados hasta el momento no permiten la transpiraci\u00f3n y causan irritaciones e inflamaciones en la piel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para lidiar con estos inconvenientes, un equipo de cient\u00edficos de la Universidad de Tokio (Jap\u00f3n) ha creado un sensor electr\u00f3nico hipoal\u00e9rgico que se puede adherir a la piel durante una semana sin provocar da\u00f1os cut\u00e1neos a la persona que lo lleva.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El dispositivo, presentado en la revista Nature Nano Technology, est\u00e1 construido a escala nano a partir de unas finas mallas transpirables que no da\u00f1an la piel, y que permiten monitorizar las constantes de una persona de forma continua durante un largo periodo de tiempo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El aparato contiene un pol\u00edmero \u2013soluble en agua\u2013 de alcohol de polivinilo (PVA) y una capa de oro. As\u00ed, esparciendo un poco de agua en la piel y aplicando despu\u00e9s el parche, el PVA se disuelve y permite al dispositivo pegarse sin problemas. Adem\u00e1s, el sensor se adapta a las superficies curvil\u00edneas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Un sensor adaptado a cada persona<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los ingenieros han probado el parche cut\u00e1neo en m\u00e1s de 20 personas durante una semana y no han detectado ning\u00fan problema en la piel de los participantes. En las pruebas de permeabilidad, los expertos han observado que el dispositivo intercambia una mayor cantidad de gases que los materiales de otros sensores. Tambi\u00e9n han certificado la durabilidad mec\u00e1nica del aparato y su fiabilidad a la hora de realizar electromiogramas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSer\u00e1 posible monitorizar las constantes vitales sin causar estr\u00e9s o incomodidad al paciente\u201d, asegura Takao Someya, autor principal del estudio.
