Gracias a esta t\u00e9cnica no invasiva se podr\u00edan diagnosticar enfermedades como el c\u00e1ncer. Tambi\u00e9n ser\u00eda aplicable al \u00e1mbito de la Ginecolog\u00eda o predicci\u00f3n del parto.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El premio es uno de los cuatro que concede la Sociedad Europea de Biomec\u00e1nica dentro del cap\u00edtulo espa\u00f1ol de su 23\u00ba Congreso Europeo, celebrado recientemente en Sevilla. El trabajo de la UGR galardonado se denomina Nonlinear shear torsion ultrasound for soft tissue characterization (Ultrasonidos no lineales de torsi\u00f3n para caracterizar tejido blando). Es consecuencia de los resultados de la tesis doctoral defendida hace casi dos a\u00f1os por el investigador Juan Manuel Melchor Rodr\u00edguez, del departamento de Mec\u00e1nica de Estructuras e Ingenier\u00eda Hidr\u00e1ulica de la UGR. Todos los miembros del proyecto pertenecen al Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n de Ultrasonidos de la Universidad de Granada, cuyo responsable es Guillermo Rus Carlborg.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El trabajo trata de estudiar el tejido blando desde el punto de vista biomec\u00e1nico a trav\u00e9s de ondas ultras\u00f3nicas de torsi\u00f3n, generando arm\u00f3nicos en su estructura. Durante los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, los cient\u00edficos han dise\u00f1ando un nuevo sensor ultras\u00f3nico para la predicci\u00f3n del parto mediante dicha metodolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La generaci\u00f3n de arm\u00f3nicos (a partir del estudio de la no linealidad) es una t\u00e9cnica novedosa que el grupo de la UGR desarrolla para este sensor ultras\u00f3nico, cuyo potencial reside en la capacidad de determinar nuevos par\u00e1metros a una escala inferior del tejido, a microescala, abriendo as\u00ed nuevas v\u00edas para entender los tejidos blandos, no solo en el campo de la Ginecolog\u00eda o predicci\u00f3n del parto, tambi\u00e9n a la hora de realizar diagn\u00f3sticos de diversas patolog\u00edas como el c\u00e1ncer, dada la naturaleza no invasiva de los ultrasonidos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fuente:<\/strong> NCYT \/(Fuente: UGR\/DICYT)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Sociedad Europea de Biomec\u00e1nica ha premiado un trabajo de la Universidad de Granada (Espa\u00f1a) que se centra en el estudio del tejido blando desde el punto de vista biomec\u00e1nico, a trav\u00e9s de ondas ultras\u00f3nicas de torsi\u00f3n.
