Durante esta producci\u00f3n se generan aguas residuales ricas en vinazas, de las cuales especialistas de la UNAM obtienen biocombustibles gaseosos.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El doctor Germ\u00e1n Buitr\u00f3n M\u00e9ndez, investigador del Instituto de Ingenier\u00eda, Unidad Acad\u00e9mica Juriquilla, detall\u00f3 que las vinazas de la industria vitivin\u00edcola son un subproducto l\u00edquido de la destilaci\u00f3n del zumo de uva durante el proceso, que contienen piel, semillas y residuos del jugo de la fruta y son ricas en materia org\u00e1nica y nutrientes como nitr\u00f3geno, azufre, f\u00f3sforo, potasio y alcoholes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es a partir de \u00e9stos que los cient\u00edficos universitarios obtienen hidr\u00f3geno y metano, ideales para producir energ\u00edas sustentables a partir de gases. Por ejemplo, el hidr\u00f3geno puede utilizarse para generar electricidad en celdas de combustible, al igual que el mejoramiento de la calidad del biog\u00e1s y transformarlo en biometano, similar al gas natural.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cDamos valor agregado a los residuos en cada una de las dos etapas de transformaci\u00f3n a biocombustible gaseoso. Queremos que los residuos de las plantas de tratamiento de aguas tambi\u00e9n se aprovechen, queremos, acercarnos a los productores agr\u00edcolas y que se aproveche como electricidad en las mismas agroindustrias\u201d, subray\u00f3 Germ\u00e1n Buitr\u00f3n, doctor en ingenier\u00eda del tratamiento de aguas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asimismo, aclar\u00f3 el cient\u00edfico que las bioenerg\u00edas por s\u00ed solas no cambiar\u00e1n el consumo de combustibles f\u00f3siles, porque es poco lo que pueden aportar; el valor agregado est\u00e1 en el tratamiento de los residuos, con la obtenci\u00f3n de biog\u00e1s, biocombustibles e hidr\u00f3geno que pueden ser utilizados para otros fines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La investigaci\u00f3n, realizada en el Laboratorio de Investigaci\u00f3n en Procesos Avanzados de Tratamientos de Agua (LIPATA) de la UNAM, busca transformar los residuos a metano e hidr\u00f3geno, reducir la contaminaci\u00f3n y aprovechar el recurso como materia prima para generar energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fuente:<\/strong>\u00a0Agencia ID<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La industria del vino en M\u00e9xico crece vertiginosamente al contar con 32 mil hect\u00e1reas de vi\u00f1edos que producen variedades de uva empleadas para la creaci\u00f3n de vinos tintos, blancos, rosados y espumosos; adem\u00e1s se producen cerca de 198 mil hectolitros de vino anuales.
