{"id":6662,"date":"2017-08-11T08:16:17","date_gmt":"2017-08-11T14:16:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=6662"},"modified":"2017-08-11T09:06:20","modified_gmt":"2017-08-11T15:06:20","slug":"pila-electrica-energizada-mediante-saliva","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/tech\/pila-electrica-energizada-mediante-saliva\/","title":{"rendered":"Pila el\u00e9ctrica energizada mediante saliva"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Unos cient\u00edficos han desarrollado una bater\u00eda que se activa a trav\u00e9s de la saliva y que puede ser utilizada en condiciones extremas donde las bater\u00edas normales no funcionan.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os, Seokheun Choi, de la Universidad de Binghamton en Nueva York, Estados Unidos, se ha centrado en desarrollar microfuentes de energ\u00eda para alimentar en regiones con recursos limitados biosensores de diagn\u00f3stico en puntos de atenci\u00f3n sanitaria; ha creado varias bater\u00edas basadas en papel que se energizan a trav\u00e9s de bacterias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La microgeneraci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda bajo demanda se necesita especialmente para aplicaciones de diagn\u00f3stico m\u00e9dico en puntos de atenci\u00f3n sanitaria de pa\u00edses en v\u00edas de desarrollo. Normalmente, esas aplicaciones precisan tan solo una energ\u00eda equivalente a varias decenas de microvatios durante varios minutos, pero las bater\u00edas comerciales u otras tecnolog\u00edas de producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda son demasiado caras y adem\u00e1s suponen un problema medioambiental debido a la contaminaci\u00f3n que provocan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Choi y Maedeh Mohammadifar han creado una bater\u00eda energizada por bacterias hecha de papel en buena parte y de alto rendimiento. Lo han conseguido construyendo c\u00e9lulas (celdas) de combustible microbianas con c\u00e9lulas (biol\u00f3gicas) exoel\u00e9ctricas inactivas y secadas por congelaci\u00f3n que generan energ\u00eda a los pocos minutos de a\u00f1adir saliva.
