Se trata de su \u201cmicroenrejado\u201d met\u00e1lico.\u00a0Es casi tan resistente como el titanio, sin embargo, su peso es incre\u00edblemente reducido. Este material es 99.99 por ciento aire.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 es tan ligero? La raz\u00f3n se encuentra en su estructura.\u00a0El material est\u00e1 constituido por un enrejado de tubos met\u00e1licos, vac\u00edos en su interior. Estos tubos son mil veces m\u00e1s delgados que el cabello humano.<\/p>\n<p>Toda la idea de este material es relacionada con\u00a0huesos humanos. Es decir, son r\u00edgidos por fuera, pero porosos por dentro.\u00a0Boeing planea usar este material para construir piezas de la estructura de un avi\u00f3n, haciendo m\u00e1s ligeros estos veh\u00edculos.
