{"id":7284,"date":"2017-10-04T09:18:44","date_gmt":"2017-10-04T15:18:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=7284"},"modified":"2017-10-04T09:18:44","modified_gmt":"2017-10-04T15:18:44","slug":"tu-ropa-futura-podria-ser-hecha-de-metano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/textil\/tu-ropa-futura-podria-ser-hecha-de-metano\/","title":{"rendered":"Tu ropa futura podr\u00eda ser hecha de metano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Este arranque de biotecnolog\u00eda utiliza bacterias que consumen metano para crear pol\u00edmeros completamente biodegradables.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mangomaterials.com\/\">Mango Materials<\/a>\u00a0es una empresa biotecnol\u00f3gica de San Francisco que ha ideado un m\u00e9todo ingenioso para transformar el metano, un potente gas de efecto invernadero, en pl\u00e1stico.\u00a0El proceso implica la alimentaci\u00f3n de metano a bacterias, que luego producen un pol\u00edmero biodegradable (polihidroxialcanoato, o PHA).\u00a0Este pol\u00edmero puede ser hilado en tela de poli\u00e9ster y se utiliza para la ropa, alfombras y, posiblemente, el embalaje, aunque la empresa se centra m\u00e1s en la industria de la confecci\u00f3n en este momento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El metano utilizado por Mango Materials proviene de una planta de tratamiento de residuos en el \u00c1rea de la Bah\u00eda, pero la compa\u00f1\u00eda est\u00e1 buscando asociarse con otras fuentes de metano, como las granjas lecheras, para obtener m\u00e1s.\u00a0La tecnolog\u00eda crea valor para el metano, que es una idea novedosa.\u00a0La Dra.
