style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si los investigadores logran producir interfer\u00f3n beta, una prote\u00edna utilizada en el tratamiento de enfermedades como esclerosis m\u00faltiple y hepatitis, criando esas gallinas, el precio de los medicamentos \u2013que alcanzan los 100 mil yenes (unos 888 d\u00f3lares) por unos microgramos\u2013 podr\u00eda caer significativamente, seg\u00fan el informe publicado en la edici\u00f3n en ingl\u00e9s de Yomiuri Shimbun.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los investigadores del Instituto Nacional de Ciencia Industrial y Tecnol\u00f3gica Avanzada (AIST) de la regi\u00f3n de Kansai lanz\u00f3 el proceso introduciendo genes que producen interfer\u00f3n beta en c\u00e9lulas precursoras de esperma de gallo, indica el peri\u00f3dico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se utilizan luego esas c\u00e9lulas para fertilizar huevos con la idea de que las gallinas que nazcan tengan sus genes modificados con esa particularidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por el momento, los cient\u00edficos tienen tres gallinas con huevos que contienen la medicina y ponen huevos casi a diario, se\u00f1ala el informe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El equipo de investigadores estima que el precio de un tratamiento podr\u00eda caer en un 10% de su precio actual, se\u00f1ala el peri\u00f3dico, esto, si es exitoso el
