adolescentes regiomontanos empezaron a llamar la atenci\u00f3n, no solo en M\u00e9xico, sino en todo el mundo, tras desarrollar un\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/este-wearable-puede-corregir-postura\/\"><i>wearable<\/i><\/a>\u00a0con el potencial de impactar positivamente en la vida de millones de mujeres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se trata de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/otro-premio-para-mexicanos-creadores-del-brasier-que-detecta-cancer\/\">Juli\u00e1n R\u00edos Cant\u00fa, Jos\u00e9 Lavariega G\u00f3mez y Jos\u00e9 Antonio Torres<\/a>, estudiantes del Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey, fundadores de la\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/tipi-top-la-startup-promete-vender-auto-al-mejor-precio\/\"><i>startup\u00a0<\/i><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/otro-premio-para-mexicanos-creadores-del-brasier-que-detecta-cancer\/\">Higia Technologies<\/a>\u00a0y creadores de su producto estrella: EVA, un dispositivo capaz de detectar anormalidades en los patrones t\u00e9rmicos de los senos y la elasticidad de sus tejidos, importantes indicadores del\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/ahora-cancer-mama-se-puede-detectar-a-traves-las-lagrimas\/\">c\u00e1ncer de mama<\/a>\u00a0en etapas tempranas.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_44936\" de EVA, sino que anunci\u00f3 el lanzamiento de la misma al mercado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHoy, en el marco de un mes muy importante, ya que octubre es el mes de la lucha contra el\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/mexicanos-descubren-alternativa-contra-cancer-mama\/\">c\u00e1ncer de mama<\/a>, presentamos algo realmente revolucionario, algo que creemos que no solo va a transformar la forma en la que vemos a la medicina y su relaci\u00f3n con la\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/tecnologia-convierte-ventanas-automovil-en-pantallas-video\/\">tecnolog\u00eda<\/a>, sino que adem\u00e1s va a salvar vidas\u201d, dijo Juli\u00e1n R\u00edos Cant\u00fa, Director General de Higia, en entrevista con\u00a0<b>Tec Review<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEste es el resultado de muchos d\u00edas de trabajo de 15 talentosos mexicanos, no podr\u00edamos estar m\u00e1s emocionados y orgullosos por ello\u201d, agreg\u00f3 el emprendedor de 18 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>El nuevo EVA: un par de copas inteligentes<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La primera versi\u00f3n de EVA \u201ces totalmente diferente a la que presentamos hoy\u201d, destac\u00f3 R\u00edos Cant\u00fa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mientras que el prototipo consisti\u00f3 en un brassier completo, el modelo que a partir de este 12 de octubre se puede preordenar en el sitio de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/tiene-17-anos-y-creo-un-brasier-para-detectar-cancer-de-mama-2\/\">Higia Technologies<\/a>\u00a0con fecha de entrega para marzo de 2018 est\u00e1 compuesto por un par de copas inteligentes que el usuario puede colocar dentro de su propia ropa interior, lo que hace m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil y discreto su uso \u201cen cualquier momento, en cualquier lugar\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona?<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el cuerpo humano existe un proceso llamado angiog\u00e9nesis, el cual consiste en la formaci\u00f3n de vasos sangu\u00edneos nuevos a partir de los preexistentes. \u201cCuando existe un\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/esta-pluma-capaz-detectar-cancer\/\">tumor<\/a>, este fen\u00f3meno lo rodea de sangre, lo que implica un aumento en la temperatura de tal zona\u201d, explic\u00f3 t\u00e9cnica de registro gr\u00e1fico de la temperatura a una escala port\u00e1til utilizando\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/conectar-a-comunidades-marginadas-con-sensores-y-la-banda-de-900-mhz\/\">sensores<\/a>\u00a0en lugar de una c\u00e1mara. Finalmente, el sistema arroja, con estos patrones como referencia, su diagn\u00f3stico preliminar\u201d, detall\u00f3 R\u00edos Cant\u00fa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En caso de encontrar una anomal\u00eda, EVA permite al usuario elegir entre dos opciones: contactar a un centro de ayuda t\u00e9cnica y m\u00e9dica disponible las 24 horas o a un especialista particular. En cualquiera de estos casos, el sistema enviar\u00e1 los resultados de la exploraci\u00f3n al experto asignado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por ahora, Higia cuenta con 5,000 unidades disponibles para ser preordenadas con un precio de $120 d\u00f3lares (unos 2,250 pesos), al tiempo que trabaja con organizaciones como\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/nodo-la-alianza-para-crear-startups-del-sector-salud\/\">Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS)<\/a>\u00a0y empresas como AXA Seguros para acercar su sistema a m\u00e1s mujeres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Simult\u00e1neamente realiza pruebas de la mano de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/apple-depende-samsung-lo-te-imaginas\/\">Apple<\/a>\u00a0con el objetivo de sacar mayor provecho de aparatos como el\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tecreview.itesm.mx\/apple-depende-samsung-lo-te-imaginas\/\">Apple Watch<\/a>\u00a0para complementar las funciones de EVA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
