Por lo tanto, es m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil obtener CO2 directamente del aire, porque es posible hacerlo en cualquier parte del mundo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sin embargo, para finalizar la reacci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica se requiere otro elemento, el sorbente, que permita concentrar di\u00f3xido de carbono, ya que su contenido en el aire es relativamente bajo. Para este fin, los cient\u00edficos aplicaron un material que comprob\u00f3 su eficacia en comparaci\u00f3n con otros, se trata del carbonato de potasio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los sorbentes elaborados a base de carbonato de potasio se hab\u00edan estudiado con anterioridad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No obstante, la innovaci\u00f3n de la presente investigaci\u00f3n de los cient\u00edficos emana del uso de estos materiales para absorber el di\u00f3xido de carbono del aire. Antes, nadie combin\u00f3 las tecnolog\u00edas para concentrar el CO2 atmosf\u00e9rico con su posterior metanizaci\u00f3n, explic\u00f3 la colaboradora del Instituto de Cat\u00e1lisis Boreskov Zhanna Vesel\u00f3vskaya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los cient\u00edficos tambi\u00e9n proponen aplicar esta tecnolog\u00eda en la esfera de transporte. Alemania ya dispone de una infraestructura desarrollada de las gasolineras de metano.
